Origins

I was never really fond of science in school, but I have taken a interest into how everything was created. As a Christian, there are three school of thoughts to which I subscribe to. I list three because, in all honesty, I think it is o.k to say "I don't know". Here are the three possibilities with a decent website for each that goes more into depth:

1. Old Earth Creation/Progressive Creation: This basically says the universe is four billion years old, and that God created different species at different times to fit the environment at that time. There may have been some macro-evolution but humans did not evolve. Old earth creation

2. Young Earth Creation: The first six days of Genesis are literal 24 hour days. Wouldn't it be fasinating if the majority of science was wrong! It certainly has happened before (spontaneous generation). Young earth creation

3. Theistic Evolution: The bible is not a science book and should not be read that way. This is the postion held by many Christian scientists. Theistic Evolution
