Mordor (Tex - quest) - Friday, June 02, 2006, 7:25 PM

Lugsharku (White Hand of Saruman)
Many rugs of different animal furs are piled upon the floor, hiding the
checkered tiles underneath. Smoke diffuses throughout the healing room,
leaving the pleasant smell of burning. Set into the furs are five torches,
arranged into the points of a star, which keep the room lit. The walls are
unnoticeable behind the shelves encumbered with thousands of potions,
herbs, books, and candles. Reaching into the heights of the room, the
shelves disappear into the darkness above, where the stars and night sky
reside. An open doorway opens east into a hallway.
A large black silk bed for the tired warriors of the army is here. [F][excellent]
[AFK] Ralith is sleeping here.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A lone, dark figure stands here, waiting for death.
you return from a journey, and begin to rest and meditate in your hall.
you are beginning to calm down, when suddenly . . . .
You feel a sudden jerk, and your surroundings blur.
The Torture Chamber
Ack! You've wound up in the Torture Chamber! You are surely doomed
now... For there is no escape. And with a pale face and a beating heart, you
watch as the big, burly jailer grab you and begin to take you towards one of
his sickening devices.
A mouldering corpse is here. It is black and covered with maggots. [excellent]
An evil looking wraith hovers threateningly.
You land with a *thud* on a table filled with objects.
A hard piece of something pokes you in the thigh, and papers and books go everywhere.
As you collect yourself, you realize that you are in a terrifying room filled with smoke and screaming.
The smoke prevents you from seeing the source of the screaming, but you do see a tall figure before you.
It is a large wraith. He appears to be the one who has brought you here.
He speaks to you in a hoarse whisper.
'Greetings mortal' the wraith says. 'I am Agragag, and YOU will obey me.'
Agragag says 'Let us discuss your mission.'
Agragag says 'There is a certain item that I require. You will retrieve it for me.'
Agragag says 'It is a small dagger. You will know it by the green rune on the hilt, like this.'
Agragag draws a green symbol in the air with his finger: $
Agragag says 'You will find it somewhere in the eastern hills of Emyn Muil.'
Indrohir nods and listens intently.
Agragag says 'Once you have the dagger, use this scroll to notify me.'
Agragag gives A scroll of notify to Indrohir.
Agragag says 'If you return with the dagger, you will be . . . rewarded.'
There is something ominous about his tone.
Agragag says 'But, if you return without it, your doom will be terrible indeed.'
Agragag pauses, and touches the corpse on the floor while uttering an incantation in a strange language.
The corpse explodes with fire, showering you with burning, rotted flesh.
Indrohir nods solemnly in understanding. He replies, "I see."
Agragag says 'You have one week, if you fail to return before then, your life is over.'
Agragag says 'now GO!'
Indrohir vanishes!
The Shore Before Esgaroth (Celduin River)
A few huts and buildings are scattered along the shore. A great bridge
made of wood leads to the once prosperous town of Esgaroth. North of here
lies a path that follows alongside the Long Lake.
Indrohir is here.
The blurring of your surroundings are no more pleasant than the first time, and you land hard on the ground.
You feel the sharp pain in your side, worse this time, as if something in your cloak is poking you.
Indrohir looks all around.
Indrohir winces slightly and regains his composure almost immediately. He peers around himself to get in tune of his surro
undings, and checks his belongings to see if the wraith had taken any of his items.
as you check your belongings, a small piece or crystal falls out of your cloak
it must be what kept poking you.
Indrohir falls silent as he meditates.
Indrohir utters the words, 'gaiqhjabral'.
Indrohir is surrounded by a white aura.
Indrohir thinks silently to himself, "Where could this have come from..."
Indrohir gets an oddly shaped piece of crystal.
Indrohir closes his eyes tightly and attempts to check the crystal for magical properties. He picks it up, a
nd identifies it, looking for more detail.
Indrohir's hands briefly glow magically!
Indrohir utters the words, 'uoculoihuyl'.
You find that it IS magical, but not any spell that you recognize.
it is made of quartz, and oddly shaped.
Indrohir thinks back to his teachings for items like these, but shakes his head in failure. He puts it in his bag, and con
tinues on his journey to the Slopes of Amon Hen.
Indrohir gets a wild look in his eyes.
Indrohir carefully protects himself with his learned magic and abilities, and walks on.
Indrohir falls silent as he meditates.
Indrohir utters the words, 'parl abrazak'.
Indrohir looks all around.
Indrohir stomps south.

Indrohir stomps east.
The Foot of the Long Lake (Celduin River)
Stepping out of the dark forest you see a great lake. The lake leads
off the north into the horizon where a lone peak can be seen. The town of
the Lake Men, Esgaroth, lies in the great lake. You can skirt around the
western edge to reach the bridge leading into Esgaroth.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps south.
A Path Beside the River (Celduin River)
The path continues to follow the River Running towards a great lake and
further, to a large lone peak. The forest of Mirkwood begins to thin and
you can find your way more easily.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps south.
A Path Beside the River (Celduin River)
The path follows alongside the Celduin River and the outskirts of the
Mirkwood forest. The River Running flows towards a great lake and then
continues to a large single peak. Don't stray off the track! If you do,
it is a thousand to one you will never find it again and never get out of
Mirkwood.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps south.
Old Forest Road
To the east lie the Rhovanion Plains and to the west lies the forest of
Mirkwood. North of here a trail follows alongside the Celdiun River.

it must be the Gum Tree!
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps west.
Old Forest Road
You are on a narrow forest road leading through the heart of a deep,
dark forest. Ancient, grey trees loom everywhere, with little light
passing through their high canape. The tree trunks here seem to be covered
in some sticky substance. Directly to the south is the entrance to the
southern section of the Mirkwood forest. The dark forest continues to the
east and west.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps west.

Old Forest Road
You are on a narrow forest road leading through a deep, dark forest.
Ancient, grey trees loom everywhere, with little light passing through
their high canape. Faint sounds of forest animals echoes down through the
towering trees. All this gives a dark gloomy feel to the forest. The
forest road continues east and west.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps west.
Old Forest Road
The Old Forest Road leads from the Old Ford through the depths of
Mirkwood to the east. All around the road are fields of green grass and
ancient trees. The dark forest looms dangerously to the east. To the
north, lies the rumoured home of the skin changer, Beorn.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps west.
Old Ford (Anduin River)
The old ford expands into view, reaching the far extensions of the
horizon. Sounds of rapidly running water can be heard from the south as the
Anduin continues to flow from its source in the north. On the east bank the
dark eaves of Southern Mirkwood follow your course. Towards the west
the Dwarven Road runs parallel to the river, with snow-capped peaks of the
Misty Mountains, visible in the far distance.

Anduin River (Anduin River)
The sounds of the Anduin river become almost deafening. Rapids crash
against the rocks as the waters churn, moving rapidly southward from their
source far to the north. The feeling of being watched cannot be overcome,
as the cold, powerful waters continue to pass on. A faint path lies to the
west.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.

you see the plains of the Wold. Mirkwood is visible towards the north.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Rapids through the Brownlands (Anduin River)
The river flow starts to change as it moves towards dark rolling hills,
becoming more swift and dangerous here. The waters are white with foam as
it splashes against submerged rocks. All around the Brownlands are visable,
while towards the north the southern eaves of Mirkwood can finally be
seen. The river continues north and south.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Anduin River (Anduin River)

trees. Here and there in the water you spot fish swimming about, and
sometimes raiding the surface to snack on an insect or two. On both sides
of the bank, the dark rolling hills slowly become the Brownlands. The river
continues north and south.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Above Sarn Gebir (Anduin River)
You are near rapids which form up and become the Falls of Rauros, but
here the river is still relatively safe and the waters are not yet too swift
to land your craft. All around dark rolling hills squeeze the river,
causing it to increase in speed and strength. Towards the east the entrance
of a canal with a lock system becomes visible. The Anduin continues on
northward.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Portage Canal (Anduin River)
The canal's lock system is very easy to operate, helping you make very
good time while moving through them. Towards the west lies Sarn Gerbir, an
area of turbulant rapids and whirlpools. The canal continues on southward.

Below the Falls of Rauros (Anduin River)
The mighty roar of the Falls of Rauros thunders all around you. The
splash and foam from the backwash nearly swamps your little boat. As you
become more accustomed to the spray and noise of the fall, you begin to see
a canal with a lock system on the east bank. It seems to be in good enough
repair to take you easily through the thunderous falls. A small footpath
leading to a wide forest lies north of here.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir smiles broadly as he senses he is close to Emyn Muil. He scans to the north, and takes a deep breath, letting the
fresh, refreshing scent of the Anduin envelope him.
Indrohir stomps north.
A Footpath into the Hills (Emyn Muil)
=======================================
Emyn Muil
=======================================
This area is for VERY HIGH players only
Please use Caution!!!
The hills on the eastern side of the Anduin lay up ahead in the
distance. The rushing of the river, along with the crash of the Falls of
Rauros makes it very noisy. A dense forest can be seen beyond the hills.
A small footpath leads north into the hills.
A very ancient looking helm of iron lies on its side. [GH][excellent]
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps north.
A Footpath into the Hills (Emyn Muil)
The path is starting to narrow as the hills roll off further to the
north. The sound of a strong river can be heard from a distance. Far
away to the west, the Anduin can be seen.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A silent fox is looking for food.
Indrohir stomps north.
A Footpath into the Hills (Emyn Muil)
The path narrows slightly here, to squeeze in between two large mounds.
The hills are just to the north now, rolling off into the distance. The
river is still quite loud and still inaccessible from this point.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
Indrohir stomps north.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
The hills roll out to the north and west. Their rounded green peaks
bring a sense of quiet and peace in a time of such discomfort and war.
Animals can be seen scurrying about the hills and down towards the river.
A path can be seen leading west towards the Anduin.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A white coyote is here, looking for prey.
A white coyote falls flat on his face.
A white coyote's bite injures Indrohir and does *98* damage!
A white coyote's bite injures Indrohir and does *84* damage!
Indrohir frowns slightly as he sees a wild coyote attack him. He gently whispers into the coyote's ear, and the coyote cal
ms down almost immediately.
Indrohir pets the coyote on the head softly, and scratches its ears. He takes out a small, wrapped, piece of deer meat, an
d feeds the coyote slowly. "There you go, much better..." He then cures his own wounds, and continues his hike towards the
Slopes.
Indrohir falls silent as he meditates.
Indrohir utters the words, 'judicandus gzfuajg'.

Indrohir stomps north.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
The hills continue here, the lush green grass lends a sense of peace to
the surroundings. The occasional forest creature can be seen, and a deer
can be seen grazing upon some grass not too far off. More hills can be
seen north, west as well as south.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A deer is here, grazing on the grass.

In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
The lush green hills continue here, a sense of peace and tranquility
comes over you and the surroundings, only in your dreams have you seen such
a wonderful place. Forest creatures are in abundance here, searching for a
meal. The hills continue north, south, and west.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
Continuing along the hills, this point is one of the highest among the
other hills. A coyote is here, looking for any animals grazing on the
grass. The hills continue east, west and north.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A white coyote is here, looking for prey.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
Hills can be seen as far as the eye can see. There, the lush green
grass that is blowing in the wind is quite the sight to see. A large
willow tree is at the top of this hill, its leaves waving methodically in
the wind. The hills continue in all directions.
An old Willow Tree is here, offering some shade from the sun. [F][excellent]
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
The green hills seem to stretch on forever. The grass here is a shade of
green that only an emerald could be. A sweeping wind blows across the
hills, causing leaves on the trees to rustle. Some woodland creatures are
here, grazing on the lush green grass. Northward the grass does not grow,
and many sharp rocks can be seen protruding from the ground. More hills
can be seen south, west and east.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
In the Eastern Hills (Emyn Muil)
Now on the eastern side of the Anduin, tall hills, covered in lush green
grass stand before you. A deer can be seen grazing on the grass as well as
the occasional bird, busily singing a melody. The hills continue south and
east. A large forest is to the north.
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
A bird is here, singing a merry tune.
A deer is here, grazing on the grass.
The Eastern Forest (Emyn Muil)
The forest casts an eerie glow upon the surroundings. The green trees
here prevent much sunlight from shining through them. As a result, very
little grass grows at the base of most of the tress. A clearing can be
seen to the north, while the forest continues west.
A body lies here with a dagger in its chest. [excellent]
[..........S..] Indrohir is here.
the body of a man lies on the forest floor.
There is a dagger in his chest, and both his hands are wrapped around the hilt.
Indrohir falls silent as he meditates.
Indrohir utters the words, 'gaiqhjabral'.
Indrohir is surrounded by a white aura.
Indrohir examines the corpse for any signs of injuries, and sees that there has been a gash on the left side of the b
ody's head.
It looks like the gash came from falling on a sharp rock.
Indrohir peers around himself at the surrounding forest, and lays his large hand on top of the man's two hands and dagger.
the hands are cold and stiff.
Indrohir drinks milk from Gloin's Endless Flask.
Indrohir mutters an incantation quietly to himself, and discovers that the man is indeed dead. He checks the surroundings
of the corpse for a sign of a struggle. He also takes a deep smell of the wound, hoping to detect any poison or magical at
tributes to the wounds.
there is no scent of magic or poison in the wound.
There are no signs of a stuggle. You find the mans tracks, it looks like he was weak and stumbling.
Indrohir leaves the corpse with a small prayer for the man's soul, and walks carefully towards the tracks, hoping to find
out what had really happened.
From the tracks you can tell that the man was stumbling and weak.
The tracks wander and lead in circles, with no clear direction or purpose.
Indrohir shakes his head in incomprehension, and returns to the corpse. He removes the man's hands from the dagger, reveal
ing the hilt in its full glory.
the hilt is made of ruby, with a small green rune: $
Indrohir nods and whispers to himself, "This is the rune that Wraith was speaking of." He says a longer prayer for the man
's soul, and wishes him well in his Judgement on the way to Heaven. Afterwards, he slowly removes the dagger from the woun
d, and immediately cleans both the wound and the dagger with a Holy spell, learned from his priesthood.
the blade of the dagger is made of black onyx.
Your physical examination of the dagger reveals a small oddly shaped slot between the hilt and the blade. The shap
e looks familiar . . .
Indrohir thinks to himself for half a moment, and smirks at his finding. He pulls out the crystal, and examines the shape,
and the shape of the slot in the dagger. They are a perfect match. He gently pushes the crystal into the dagger.
the crystal locks in with a click, and the blade slides out and falls to the ground.
Indrohir picks up the blade.
Indrohir stops using (orcish) a black longsword.
Indrohir wields A ruby hilt with a green rune.
Indrohir stops using A ruby hilt with a green rune.
Indrohir wields An onyx dagger blade.
Indrohir examines the blade that has fallen to the ground and says, "Hmm...strange..."
Indrohir thinks to himself as to what to do with the broken dagger for a bit, and shrugs. He looks back at the corpse, and
examines it for any additional items. He finds a journal, and picks it up.
Indrohir gets A Journal from A corpse.
Indrohir flips through the journal quickly, and notices that it is far too thick to read it all in one sitting, so he puts
it in his bag for safe keeping. He thinks to himself, "How am I going to return to the Wraith?"
as you flip through it, you happen upon a diagram
This page of the journal contains a detailed drawing of the dagger, showing the ruby hilt and the onyx blade.
In the diagram the blade is labeled power, the hilt is labeled bane.
Indrohir gets A Journal from A Bag Filled with Hopes, Dreams, and Desires.
The clouds disappear revealing clear Sky.
You also notice that the writing in the begining of the journal is small and neat, and becomes progressively more d
ifficult to read towards the end.
Indrohir mutters quietly to himself, So this man most likely wrote this journal...power...bane? Hmmm..." He grunts loudly
and shakes his head. He thinks "No, it won't matter. Just give it back to the Wraith, it is none of your business."
Indrohir places the journal into his bag, and recites the scroll carefully, being careful not to mispronounce any of the w
ords.
you hear agragag's voice 'Do you have the dagger?'
Indrohir whispers "Yes. The blade has been removed however."
there is silence for moment, the agragag responds 'what??' he sounds quite excited for a dead man.
Indrohir whispers again, "Yes. The magical crystal has been placed inside, and the blade slid out."
agrag says quietly 'amazing'
Agragag arrives from a puff of smoke.
Indrohir closes his eyes, and prays to Mordor.
Indrohir utters the words, 'gajr gzabraqp'.
Indrohir shows Agragag the hilt and the blade.
Agragag is acting oddly, edging closer to you, then jumping back again, but always staying several yards away from
you.
Agragag says 'you have done well indeed. You may keep the hilt as your reward, give me the blade.'
Agragag approaches you holding out his hand, but winces and stops.
Indrohir inquires, "I have no use for neither the hilt nor the blade. Keep both. Why do you not need the hilt?"
Agragag says 'perhaps you should just set the blade down, I prefer to pick it up myself. I insist that you keep the hilt
however, it is very valuable to you'
Indrohir shrugs and does as Agragag tells him.
Indrohir drops An onyx dagger blade.
Indrohir looks intently at Agragag, having observed that he could not come close to Indrohir.
Agragag says 'do not concern yourself with why, only take the hilt and go.'
Indrohir shrugs to himself, and holds out his hand, in a handshake, to see Agragag's reaction. "Pleasure doing business wi
th you."
Agragag seems a little impatient, but says 'and with you.' He makes no move to shake your hand or come closer.
Agragag is having difficulty taking his eyes of the blade of the dagger. His hands twitch as though aching to pick it up.
Indrohir nods slightly and thinks "as I predicted...". He drops his hand, and wields his weapons. "Well, I'm off..." Indro
hir bows deeply toward Agragag, and turns his back, although his hands are gripped tightly around his swords, and his mind
is racing through spells he could use to liberate this strange soul that calls itself Agragag.
Indrohir wields (orcish) a black longsword.
Indrohir stops using A ruby hilt with a green rune.
Indrohir wields (orcish) a black longsword in his off-hand.
Indrohir mutters some holy incantations and feels Nature and his God's wrath burning in him.
Indrohir utters the words, 'gaiqhjabral'.
Indrohir is surrounded by a white aura.
Agragag bows sketchily in response, but never takes his eyes of the dagger.
Indrohir gets a potion of mana from A Bag Filled with Hopes, Dreams, and Desires.
Indrohir quaffs a potion of mana.
Indrohir protects his armor with his magic.
Indrohir's hands briefly glow magically!
Indrohir utters the words, 'yucandussfaay'.
A black onyx, set in a silver ring is surrounded by a protective aura.
Indrohir slips a black onyx, set in a silver ring onto his right finger.
Indrohir falls silent as he meditates.
Indrohir utters the words, 'paghz'.
Indrohir is moving more quickly.
Indrohir looks back at Agragag, and notices he is very agitated by the blade. Indrohir begins to walk away slowly.
With each step that you take away from the blade, Agragag jerks towards it, as though drawn by a leash.
As Agragag takes the last step to the dagger he pounces on it and clutches it tightly.
His laughter rolls through the clearing in the forest, and he rolls around gleefully, clutching the dagger.
Indrohir retunes himself with his surroundings, trying to notice things out of order from when he first came into this are
a. Observing Agragag's behavior after he clutches the dagger, Indrohir yells back "Who are you Agragag?!"
Agragag rises to his feet, and says 'who am I?"
Ok.
Agragag says 'I am Agragag the wise, Agragag the weaponsmith, Agragag the MIGHTY!!!!'
Agragag sweeps his hands hands in a circle, and the trees at the edge of the forest explode into toothpicks.
Agragag calms himself and says ' You have done well mortal. I will let you live.'
Indrohir snickers softly, and says, "The mighty eh? Very well Agragag." He meditates for a bit, and uses his influence on
Mother Nature to grow back twice the number of trees as Agragag had demolished. Indrohir bows slightly, and turns around t
o walk away.
Agragag chuckles politely.
Agragag says 'I will let your insolence pass mortal. May we NOT meet again.'
in an overly decorative flash of light and smoke, agragag dissapears.
Indrohir chuckles to himself and whispers, "I was not trying to be insolent, but oh well."
Indrohir looks around and bids farewell to the Forest.
