a second glance from passing people. He is 6' tall and weighs 180 lbs.
Most of his body mass is muscle and he is very agile.

Mordor (Tex - quest) - Wednesday, May 31, 2006, 11:10 PM
---------------------------------------------------------

Beneath the Tower (Minas Morgul) Standing on the south side of Market Square, all around people are stumbling around drunk. To the south lies the Grubby inn and a horrid smell erupts from the shop entrance. You better keep a close eye on your change pouch, you don't like the way people are eyeing it. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. You are walking through Minas Morgul keeping up with the latest rumors. You heard a good one over at Filthy's taver, and are on your way to try to verify it, when . . . You feel a sudden jerk, and your surroundings blur. The Torture Chamber Ack! You've wound up in the Torture Chamber! You are surely doomed now... For there is no escape. And with a pale face and a beating heart, you watch as the big, burly jailer grab you and begin to take you towards one of his sickening devices. A mouldering corpse is here. It is black and covered with maggots. [excellent] An evil looking wraith hovers threateningly. Resiak arrives from a puff of smoke. You land with a *thud* on a table filled with objects. A hard piece of something pokes you in the thigh, and papers and books go everywhere. Resiak grumbles about the pain in his thigh As you collect yourself, you realize that you are in a terrifying room filled with smoke and screaming. The smoke prevents you from seeing the source of the screaming, but you do see a tall figure before you. It is a large wraith. He appears to be the one who has brought you here. He speaks to you in a hoarse whisper. 'Greetings mortal' the wraith says. 'I am Agragag, and YOU will obey me.' Agragag says 'Let us discuss your mission.' Agragag says 'There is a certain item that I require. You will retrieve it for me.' Resiak says 'what is it that will make me obey you.' Resiak looks at Agragag. Agragag is about 7 feet tall, made of a ghostly smoky substance with eyes like coals of fire Agragag nudges the corpse on the floor with his toe. Agragag says 'Observe:' Resiak says 'oh, right, Well I suppose I can at least listen...' Agragag pauses, and touches the corpse while uttering an incantation in a strange language. The corpse explodes with fire, showering you with burning, rotted flesh. Resiak says 'yeah, that actually just reinforces the notion. I am listening to you.' Agragag says 'The item that I require is a small dagger. You will know it by the green rune on the hilt, like this' Agragag draws a green symbol in the air with his finger: $ Resiak says 'ok' Agragag says 'You will find it somewhere in the eastern hills of Emyn Muil.' Resiak says 'ok' Agragag says 'Once you have the dagger, use this scroll to notify me.' Agragag gives A runed scroll of notify to Resiak. Resiak says 'ok, one question. Maybe this is just me being stubborn, however, is there by chance any reward you may provid e me for doing this/' Agragag says 'If you return with the dagger, you will be . . . rewarded.' There is something ominous about his tone. Agragag says 'But, if you return without it, your doom will be terrible indeed.' Resiak says 'sounds like a great adventure. When do I start?' Agragag says 'You have one week, if you fail to return before then, your life is over.' Agragag says 'and you begin NOW.' Resiak says 'ok, some information I require...' Resiak vanishes! A Warg Den (Plains of Nurn) As you proceed deeper into the warg den, the smell does not get any better. Walking around the room is difficult, because of the sleeping wargs everywhere. This large warg den continues both east and west. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A baby warg is sleeping here. A baby warg is sleeping here. A baby warg is sleeping here. A warg is sleeping here. A warg is sleeping here. A warg is sleeping here. Resiak shrugs helplessly. The blurring of your surroundings are no more pleasant than the first time, and you land hard on the ground. You feel the sharp pain in your side, worse this time, as if something in your cloak is poking you. Resiak screams loudly! Resiak starts talking to himself Resiak says 'ok, now I need to find some dagger with a green symbol on it in Emyn Muil or face dire consequences.' Resiak says 'Do I know anyone who has information about the area' Resiak says 'let's see, there is The Priest of evil, but the last time I talked to him he sent me on a wild goose chase.' Resiak says 'I could try the good priest, but we had that falling out over the whole hobbit incident.' Resiak says 'The Quest master seems to be knowledgeable about the area, I think I will see what he has to tell me.' Resiak says 'yeah, thats it' Resiak thinks to himself "good thing I know where I am or I may have been really worried." Resiak walks north. A Warg Den (Plains of Nurn) It looks like you have found where the awful smell was coming from, and where they keep the wargs. It looks like this area has not been cleaned for years, no wonder it smells so bad. These wargs are used to transfer the grain from the fields to Barad-Dur and Minas Morgul. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks north. A Smelly Hallway (Plains of Nurn) As you walk into this room you are hit with a blast of raunchy air that makes you double over and gasp for air. The hallway is not nearly as nice as the main hallway. The walls have holes and gnash marks on them. A door is to your north, while the source of the smell seems to come from the south. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks north. A Hallway Inside the Warehouse (Plains of Nurn) The inside of the warehouse is a lot cleaner than the outside, if you didn't see it for yourself you would not have believed it. The floor and walls are smooth enough to slide on which makes running very dangerous. The hallway continues to the west, while doors lie to your south and east. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. Outside the Warehouse (Plains of Nurn) Now that you are right next to the warehouse, you can actually see how large it really is. The warehouse is huge, as are the two orc guards standing next to it. The door has a massive lock on it, which it seems one of the guards has the key in their possession. The path to the east leads towards the mill, while the locked wooden door to the west leads into the warehouse. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A large orc guard is here, protecting the warehouse. A large orc guard is here, protecting the warehouse. Resiak walks east. The Path to the Warehouse (Plains of Nurn) The path continues here with several troll guards standing in your way. They seem to be watching to make sure the slaves from the field do not make it to the warehouse, and pay no attention to you. The warehouse is not far off to the west, while the mill road lies to the east. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. The Path to the Warehouse (Plains of Nurn) The path to the warehouse is rather well kept compared to the other paths you've seen here. The slaves here seem a bit stronger than those out in the fields, and they look better fed. The mill road is to your east, while the path towards the warehouse continues west. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A scared slave is here, tilling the fields in fear of Atez. Resiak walks east. The Mill Road (Plains of Nurn) This is the last piece of the stone road and looks just as badly worn as the rest. Three buildings are visible against the lonely plains. The grain mill is to the north, while the Miller's house is to the south. To the west is the grain warehouse, which also happens to be the largest building here. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. The Mill Road (Plains of Nurn) This section of the path is badly worn and frequently travelled, mainly by warg-drawn carts. A broken axel from one of the carts is lying in a ditch. It continues west, while the fields lie to the east. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A goblin guard is standing here. Resiak walks east. A Slave-Tilled Field (Plains of Nurn) A small stone well lies here in the edge of the golden fields. Moving through the crops you see slaves working throughout the fields, their faithful song drifts along with the wind. The golden fields continue to the east and south, with a well-used road that leads west. A stone well has been constructed here. [excellent] [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. A Slave-Tilled Field (Plains of Nurn) The fields continue here as slaves move about, trying to avoid your gaze. The Plains of Nurn continue far to the east into the horizon. The golden field continues to your south and west. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A hard working slave is here, doing his job to prevent a lashing. Resiak walks west. Resiak walks north. Near the Fields (Plains of Nurn) You stand at the edge of the golden fields, the only place in all of Mordor where crops will still grow. Slaves work the fields, caring for the crops and working hard to avoid the whip of their Goblin overseers. A faint singing drifts over the fields, the mournful songs of the slaves. The path to the north leads back to the Plains of Gorgoroth. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A scared slave is here, tilling the fields in fear of Atez. Resiak walks north. A Path Leading into the Plains (Plains of Nurn) The path after days of travel finishes on the edge of a huge plain, where the golden fields of wheat and barley wave in the wind. The path back to the Plains of Gorgoroth lies to the north. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. A scared slave is here, tilling the fields in fear of Atez. Resiak walks north. On the Edge of the Plains (Plains of Nurn) This section of the path is badly worn and frequently traversed, mainly by warg-drawn carts. There is a faint mournful singing coming from the far south, from the slaves at work. The path back to the Plains of Gorgoroth lies to the east. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. A Path to the Plains of Nurn (Plains of Nurn) ======================================== Plains of Nurn ======================================== Heading east you turn down a lonely wind swept path. Slowly but surely you move through the plains, moving ever closer to the Plains of Nurn where most of the grain, which feeds the dark lord's armies, is grown. The path continues west. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks east. A goldien field Here you find the plains stretching on further south. The grass turning into a soft golden color with the coming of Autumn. A wooden fence extends to the south, stretching out as far as the eye can see, and to the west, you note a lightly dug path. To the north, heads back into the Orc Road. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks north. Under the Towers of the Teeth You are now under the gates of the Towers of the Teeth. A light breeze passes through as you gaze upon the grassy fields. It almost seems peaceful, but yet... Further on.. The horrors of evil unmask themselves. To the south you notice the sounds of human voices, far away yet distinct. The plains extend further south, as a crudely cut road continues on north and east. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks up. The Gates of the Towers of the Teeth Here the source of the sounds are heard, two towers rise high to either side of you, protecting a massive gate that leads down the pass into the country known as MORDOR. The Orcs singing ring clear, never ending, jeering and jaunting you for no end to come. South leads to the tower of Carchost. The Eye of Sauron burns still, it's lidless gaze boring down upon you. They know you are here... [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. The High Pass Here the stench of death rises high into the air. The blackened path begins to widen as the sound of Orcs singing their horrid songs rising into the air, their voices directed towards you. The message is clear. You are standing upon the Eye of the Storm. You notice farther ahead, a great pass rises high into the air, beckoning you to approach. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. The High Pass The path becomes wider now, in the distance you can see the peek of the mountains. And so, you wonder, what was this country like before Sauron turned it into a black realm? The Eye of Sauron stares down upon you, but it doesn't matter anymore. You are already deep inside the path, and now, there is no turning back. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. The High Pass The songs of the orc begin to be heard in the distance. You stand upon the edge of a cliff, the light breeze washing away the stench that haunted you below. Here the blackened path continues. The lidless eye, casting a deep red beam elsewhere. As you look up, you notice far to the west, the lights of a bustling city rise into the air. To the east, the appears to be the source of sound, what could it be? [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks down. Under the Pass There, below the high pass, the shadows shelter you, though it feels like something else takes shelter here. High above, the Eye casts it's red beam upon the ground, however, it cannot find this place. The one place where all are safe from Sauron. Far to the west, the bustling of some kind of city can be heard in the distance, yet, the Towers... To the east, the battle cries of orc hordes can be heard, warning all they approach their Towers, into the Tempest. The trail winds upwards, up into the High Pass, allowing travels to continue. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. The Blackened Trail The blackened path continues on. The smell of monsters vile, but tolerable... Up to a point. Shadows of a cliff high above looms over the blood-stained path, creating a sense of dispair for those good of heart. For those evil, they found a sense of wonder... The lidless eye shines high above, watching all that travels this path. To the west lies Minus Morgul, to the west, the trail continues. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. The Blackened Trail There you stand upon the begining of a path trailing out far to the east. To the west lies the Eastern Gates of Minas Morgul, and to the east The infamous Towers of the Teeth. The path, worn out by ancient times, has blackened by dried blood spilled upon it. Yet for now, it is safe to pass, yet, all around you, the stench of orcs and trolls fill your senses filling you with a sense of dread, and vileness. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. Outside the East Gate (Minas Morgul) You are now on the outskirts of town heading east into the wild and unknown. You hope you are prepared for the journey ahead of you and have evereything you'll need. Remember don't trust anyone, the golden rule is to watch your back and keep a good eye open at all times. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. Inside the East Gate (Minas Morgul) You are standing before the east gate leading out of town. Crossroads East*West (Minas Morgul) You are heading east on a well traveled road, rivets from many wagons have been left in the road. East*West Crossroads (Minas Morgul) This is where the various traders of Middle-earth gathered in ancient times. Now they gather in Market Square to sell their goods to any travel willing to spend thier money. Below the tower, and north of the Guild Square, you see the enormous East*West road expand in all its glory, for this is a beginning -- an outlet to Middle-earth. Please read the note 'look note'. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. Crossroads East*West (Minas Morgul) As the street nears the squares in the middle of Minas Morgul the crush seems to get worse. Off to one side of the road a pair of urchins seem to be fighting over a small creature that looks like it may have been run over by a cart. Do you think they want to eat it or rescue it? [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. Crossroads East*West (Minas Morgul) You find it hard work trying to force your way through the crowds of people on the city's main through road. What with visitors making their way east into the center and adventurous types heading west into the wilds, it's amazing anybody gets anywhere. [..........S..] Resiak Stop looking at me "Siwan!" is here. Resiak walks west. Inside the West Gate (Minas Morgul) Standing inside the city it amazes you how busy it is. Resiak opens the journal to page 1 the journal is too thick to read it all right now you page through the journal, reading bits here and there: (journal) While I possess the dagger I am safe, but he never leaves me alone. He hates the dagger, yet he is drawn to it. (journal) He slays those around me, I cannot protect them. I flee to save them, or they drive me away, and always he follows. This page of the journal contains a detailed drawing of the dagger, showing the ruby hilt and the onyx blade. In the diagram the blade is labeled power, the hilt is labeled bane. There appears to be a smudge where the two ar e joined. (journal) He would have me destroy the dagger in his hatred of it, but destroying the object of his desire would dr ive him insane. He would slay me in his anger. (journal) There is power in the blade to destroy him, yet while the hilt is there he will never approach. There is no solution. the journal entries have become more and more scrawled, this last entry is almost impossible to read. (journal) Doom, doom take us both but he will not go. I must break it but it is one. I must break us before we ar e one. Resiak ponders the meaning of the journal Resiak thinks about the logical conclusion "the wraith was hunting this man in order to get rid of the dagger. The hilt pr evented the wraith from coming near the dagger's blade which has the power to kill him." Resiak Thinks "If I get rid of the hilt and return with the blade and stab him with it, i will have an opportunity to surv ive this fiasco, which according to the journal I have no other way of surviving." Resiak thinks "however, will he notice if I return with only the blade, how will i get close enough to stab him with it, w ill killing him cause me any additional harm, was this man only thinking that the creature would kill him after destroying the dagger." Resiak gives Alfred A Runed Dagger Alfred the bumbling wizard. performs a few arcane gestures and hunches over the dagger thoughtfully. Alfred the bumbling wizard. studies the dagger for about 10 minutes in silence, and then turns to you. Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'this is a remarkable weapon indeed. The hilt and blade are seperate magical items, but they are joined by a powerful magical spell.' Resiak says 'yeah, If I need to do what I think I need to do I need to know how to separate them and break that spell...pr eferably without any permanent damage to myself.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'the blade could indeed kill a wraith, but only one who is in tune with it. It was forge d by a powerful wizard, and was bound to that wizard during his life and absorbed much of his power. However after his de ath, the daggers holds his power and part of his soul, binding him to this world' Resiak says 'hmmm well, i think that wizards wraith has decided I am to return the dagger to him, however, I also learned from a journal that he wants it destroyed BUT if I do that he will probably kill me because he is so much a part of it. Wi ll the wraith no longer exist if I destroy the dagger?' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'oh he will exist, but he would be tremendously affected by its destruction.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'probably not in an happy mood, as part of his soul will have just been destroyed.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'The hilt is a different matter, it appears to have been made solely to drive away the wr aith. thats why this dagger is so unusual, it both repels and attracts' Resiak says 'that is what the journal basically said. So, I need to separate the pieces and kill the wraith.' Resiak says 'wait....' Resiak says 'what if I separate the pieces and just get rid of the hilt, and give the blade to the wraith?' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'as i said, the pieces are bound by powerful magic.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. holds the dagger out and points to the joint between the blade and the hilt at the joint, there is a small oddly shaped slot. the shape looks familiar . . . . Resiak shows Alfred the crystal Alfred the bumbling wizard. however there is a key. with this key you may unbind the items Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'however there is a key. with this key you may unbind the items' Alfred the bumbling wizard. examines the crystal. Alfred the bumbling wizard. gets quiet excited, and says 'that should do it exactly!' Resiak says 'well then, now I can separate the two pieces. However, do I try to kill the wraith or just give him the blade ?' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'do you want me to seperate the dagger? it is a simple matter.' Resiak says 'hmm well that is an interesting matter. I think it is my only choice.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'well, if you give him the blade he will not go insane. but he is undead, there is no re ason to think he will be your friend.' Resiak says 'figures, stinking wraiths.' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'give me the crystal.' Resiak gives alfred the crystal Alfred the bumbling wizard. lays the dagger on the table, and inserts the crystal. It goes in with a click, and the blade s slides out easily. the crystal stays stuck in the hilt. Alfred the bumbling wizard. gives you back the blade and hilt. Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'wraiths are a nasty business, good luck in whatever you decide :)' Resiak says 'yeah, thanks :). hopefully I can get "the drop" on him' Resiak gives Alfred 5 platinum coins Resiak says 'thanks for all your help' Alfred the bumbling wizard. says 'wow, thank YOU!'
