“I can’t believe you would fight with Tom like that,” said Daisy with anger.

“I can’t believe you still won’t leave him,” said Gatsby.

“I already told you I wouldn’t, why won’t you drop it,” replied Daisy.

“I love you and we should be together, not you and Tom,” Gatsby said sadly.

“I still want to be with Tom,” Daisy said quietly.

“You may still want to be with him but I don’t think that you love him,” Gatsby said firmly.
