Deeper (Fiction)
     One warm summer afternoon as Gatsby walks along the sidewalks of the buzzing city  he is stopped by a sweet familiar smell. a scent that seems so close to him and yet so far all at the same time. He's struck by awe and fond he could not move, for his brain was so settled on the warn floral scent that reminds him of a special women he danced with just last night. The warm scent gives him the same tingling feelin down his spine that he felt last night when he held Daisy close.

     Later that night as Gatsby lies in bed surrounded by all of the luxuries life and wealth have to offer, he finds himself restless and unable to sleep. He has everything money can buy but it's the one thing he can't call his own that keeps him awake. overcome with sleep deprivation Gatsby finds his body taking control and walking to the garage and getting in his car. As he drives he doesn't have to think about which way to turn, his hands know the way. Before he can become conscious enough to realize his actions he finds himself sitting under the night shy in his convertible. But his eyes aren't up at the stars, his eyes are fixed upon a second story window. He watches contently and imagines Daisy laying there fast asleep and he suddenly feels that he can rest at peace because being closer to her calms his heart and mind
