West Egg/ East Egg
One of the more interesting parts of the story is that even though Nick tried to escape the west he was still in the west, being that he lived in West Egg.  However the relation of East Egg and West Egg is very interesting.  The more lively events occur in West Egg in Gatsby’s house, while some of the more boring segments, to me at least, seem to happen in East Egg at Daisy and Tom’s house.  This relation is opposite of East and West in Nicks perspective (East and West as in the parts of the country not the Eggs).  Nick finds that the West is dull and boring while West Egg is full of life and parties.  Nick also says that the East is full of life and entertaining things, while all that really happened in East Egg was a small get together.
