Matthew 27: 51-52  And behold, the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom.  The earth quaked, rocks were split, tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised.

 

*This stirs up in us the seriousness of the incident.  When Jesus died, the loud

noises instilled a fear in our minds as to what we had done.  With the

gunshots of Gatsby’s death, we realize what has happened and the horror it 

has caused.
