Utsu, Kine, and TK are best presented together. I like them best that way. It's even more important than it is with Iceman. You see, TM Network's strength comes from their long friendship and relationship with their fans. If you know Japanese, you can join their online fanclub, where TM members will actually read what you have to say and write back. In fact, Kine spent a good part of his recent New York trip replying to mail from his hotel room.
As an ever-growing webpage that is trying to give credit where credit is due, these pictures are going to link to the original site. It's my little way of helping you navigate directly to the fun parts of Rojam and TM Next. In fact, I had a bit of a hard time finding some of these again. The key is looking under TM Next's Aux option for Hype, and then looking under Doin' as well as Before. Lots of great stuff. Don't miss out! Go to Rojam!
These pictures which I used for introducing the TM members are from the "Anti-Drug Campaign in Chiba-Yes to Life Festival." TK is a UN ambassador for the anti-drug cause. It's always good to know that our popstars are trying to be good role models.
Their most recent concert was Log-on to the 21st Century. There's full coverage of it on Rojam, complete with an excellent Sights photo gallery that has pictures of them and music clips playing in slideshow format. It's great. This was my first introduction to TM Network, and reading about their dry run before the concert day and then the real thing hooked me. They restarted in 1999, but there were a lot of things going on that year, including the death of Utsu's father. This concert was the first TM Network concert (exclusively TM Network) since their restart. But don't worry, because the Major Turn-Round concert tour will change that. Things are really starting to take off now. I can't wait to see what TM Network does in 2001!
I don't want to just be repeating information that's available on Major Turn-Round, but I'm afraid that someone will stumble across this page and not be motivated to go to the official page to learn more about TM Network unless I do a good job here. So I'll try not to summarize too much, but the Major Turn-Round concert tour demands a bit of attention. It's TM Network's first concert tour since restarting. As usual, Utsu admitted to being nervous with a characteristic laugh. But it sounds to me like the TM members gradually relaxed and held a great concert. I think the best part is that I'd been watching for the start of the concert tour in Osaka, and the next day, TM Next did, indeed, deliver by posting up information about the first day. ^_^ I like the fact that TM Network pays attention to their fans. I hope I can hook other fans too.
And here's some items from Major Turn-Round, none of which I can get. Well, except the Keyboard magazine. I'm going to try to get that. It was released Jan. 18.
They've also been promoting their new album and concert tour on various radio and TV programs. I hope they do really well despite the special release of MTR.
They also performed in the Act Against Aids Concert.
These are pictures from before, during their ten-year career as TM Network/TMN, before the close of the project. But don't worry, they restart! And that's what makes them great. ^_^
These pictures are a bit more recent, after TM Network restarted.
TM members recently went to New York for a photoshoot session. Here are some great pictures from that trip. Notice how they go from being wonderful friends, smiling and walking down the street or sitting in a room, to impressive popstars, taking on that powerful presence and strolling down a sidewalk in an undeniably cool way. These pictures were so recent that they're actually on the Spin section of TM Next. That means it's listed under the most recent events on Rojam.
Of course, all these pictures come courtesy of Rojam. I wouldn't dream of stealing the credit. For even more pictures, more information, and more TM Network fun, please do comb Rojam. It's well-worth it!
These pics are new. I scanned them from the 4001 Days Groove CD jackets. It doesn't lead to a fun Rojam site. Instead, click below to see more pics. Warning: the pics are big.
I think I found where I got these pics. I really like the feel of them.
These pictures of TM members in their youth are from this TMN site. They're lots of fun, aren't they? Go take a look at the other goodies. Some are on the TMN albums page.
Here's some pictures from Vision Melodies. The collections page is quite nice.
