GREAT MOMENTS
IN
PHILLIES HISTORY

All right, let's be honest. If you're a Phillies fan, you know there haven't been that many great moments. But we certainly treasure the ones we have. I've tried to capture a few of them on this page. I'll be adding more in the future, and I'd be glad to take suggestions on possible additions.

THE WHIZ KIDS WIN THE PENNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dick Sisler's 3-run home run in the 10th inning of the final game of the 1950 season gave the Phillies their first National League pennant in 35 years.

The police dogs ringed Veterans' Stadium. Tylenol Tug McGraw struck out the final Kansas City Royal .... and 99 years of frustration ended as the Philadelphia Phillies earned their first World Series Title.
