This is my 1992 Firebird Convertible. It is no longer in cherry condition because I have put an assload of miles on it (125,000 miles on the clock)and the paint has delaminated clearcoat. I am the second owner and maybe the last owner. I'm not sure if this car is a keeper now that I have no more room in my driveway. It is a base model Firebird with the upgraded 305 Throttle Body Injected V-8. At only 175 hp it is not a screamer. But it gets 25+ mpg freeway mileage. Mods I have done to it right now are bumped timing, synthetic oil, an L98 cam from the Formula, and an open element air cleaner. This engine has recently decided to go out on me. It's a wristpin knock. Who has ever heard of an engine with wristpin knock? Well, now I am building a new engine  from a 94 caprice for it. It will be a 355 ci LT1 with aluminum heads (fully rebuilt) from a 93 Camaro. LT4 cam and some other minor mods. This engine will be mostly for reliability and I am only looking for around 300hp. Progress is slow but I have MOST of the parts I need to convert it. I snagged most everything I needed off of the 94 Caprice donor car. I'll keep this updated.
