Since Distance Education students are not able to travel to
campus for orientation, we'll bring the campus to you! Give us a
call, and we will send you our Distance Education Orientation Video.
In the video, you will meet key faculty and staff and learn more about
the services available to you.
We will also send you a Student Information Packet. In this packet,
you will learn UAS-Distance Education policies, how to phone-in for classes,
and how to take advantage of library resources.

UAS-Sitka offers three orientation times for your convenience this
fall. These sessions provide you with information on important
dates, University policies and procedures, and student’s rights and
responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to meet key people
at the University. The orientation sessions are scheduled as follows
(you need only attend one session):
Book Exchange Day: TBA * 9am-12
Orientation: TBA at noon
Orientation: TBA at 6pm
