WWAW Tuesday Night Firestorm
3/27/2001

(We see clips of Katastrophe, including Katie Haynes' return to the ring to help the Perfect Event, Goldberg/Mantaur, Corino/Chavo, and Norton/Jarrett, including the Perfect Event interference and the after-match video clip that frightened Jeff Jarrett.)

("Neckbone" plays and we are taken inside the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida for Firestorm, formerly named Turbo, but renamed. The crowd is going crazy, and the after-Katastrophe atmosphere is definitely there tonight, as Trent Rutherford kicks us off!)

Rutherford: Welcome everyone to Firestorm! Tonight should be a very big night for WWAW, as the aftermath of Katastrophe will take place tonight, and what an
aftermath it should be! However, we don't have a main event set yet for tonight, but President Jake Ryder has claimed that we will find out tonight just what
that match will be! So don't change that dial, because we've got some great WWAW action coming right up!

(Buckcherry's "Lit Up" plays, and the crowd looks towards the entryway, as the WWAW President steps out to a big pop! Ryder walks down towards the ring, with
a mic in his hands.)

Smith: Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the WWAW, Jake Ryder!

(Ryder enters the ring, shakes hands with ring announcer Robert Smith, and proceeds to talk to the fans.)

Ryder: Hello everyone. For those of you that don't know me, I am WWAW President Jake Ryder, and for those of you that do, thanks for sticking around.

(Crowd pops)

Ryder: You know, ever since the beginning of this year, I've tried to dazzle you with my amazing field of talent, and my amazing show, which has traveled everywhere but the west... until now. Starting after the April Pay-Per-View, I will start sending my WWAW shows, Firestorm and All Star Wrestling, to certain areas in the west, including Arizona, California, Colorado, and New Mexico, just to name a few. After that, we plan
to go international, but that's a different story for a different time. Ever since the end of January, one man has been the flagship, the leader, if you will, for this company. That man is Jeff Jarrett. Love him or hate him, he has worked his butt off to make this
promotion what it is right now.

(Crowd pops a little)

Ryder: Though his actions aren't as great as I would like them to be, including himself hitting myself with a guitar on a recent show, I just want to say, congratulations to Jeff Jarrett on a well hard-fought match Sunday. However, that great match had its
downfalls. The Perfect Event ran down Sunday. (boos) And interfered where they shouldn't have belonged. However, I am willing to let it go tonight, for
Jarrett will have a chance to redeem himself in my eyes. Jarrett, tonight, in this very ring, you will be defending your World Title again, just like you were defending your World Title on Sunday. You'll defend it against Scott Norton in this very ring!

(Crowd pops big time and starts a chant of "Norton")

Ryder: But Jarrett, if your stupid lackeys the Perfect Event, or ANYONE for that matter interferes in the match, I will have that person...and YOU fired! ON THE SPOT! In that case, Jarrett, I recommend you have a nice clean match with Jarrett, and have a nice day.

("Lit Up" plays, and the crowd pops as the news has been broken. Jake leaves the ring with a smile on his face, a smile of victory.)

Rutherford: Well, there you have it! Later tonight, Jeff Jarrett will face Scott Norton in a rematch from Katastrophe for the WWAW World Heavyweight Title! I can't wait! And the thought that it will be one-on-one, with no interference makes it all the more better! But we have some more matches tonight that will wet your appetite for sure. So let's not waste time, let's go to the ring!

Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...

("Intergalactic" plays, and the crowd boos as Al Snow comes down to the ring.)

Smith: Al Snow!

(Snow slides into the ring, and awaits his opponent... and it is Buff Bagwell from Sunday night! "We Be Clubbin'" plays, and Buff comes out to a big pop! He slides into the ring, cutting off the ring announcer and beginning the match immediately!)

Al Snow
vs.
Buff Bagwell

The Good: This was a good match, just like last night.

The Bad: It's been done before, so it wasn't that much of a big deal.

The Finish: In what seemed like the perfect revenge for the match on Sunday, Snow got the Snow Plow reversed into a double underhook DDT, and then Bagwell hit the Blockbuster on Snow as he got up for the win!

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Buff Bagwell pinned Al Snow with the Buff Blockbuster in 0:09:46.
Rating: **

After the match, Bagwell celebrated, but Snow wasn't too happy, and started throwing a tantrum. He chucked the ring steps, almost nailing the ring announcer. However, after the tirade was over, "Sleep Now In The Fire" played, and the crowd cheered as Jericho ran down. He attacked Snow, and threw him into the ring steps, and then grabbed a mic.

Jericho: Snow! Do you want to throw a tantrum! Throw it in the ring, against me! Break down the walls of Jericho!

(Jericho throws down the mic and gives Snow a extra stomp to the gut, and then walks off as "Sleep Now..." plays again.)

Rutherford: Well, it has not been a good night for Al Snow. First, he lost to Buff Bagwell, the same man he beat on Sunday, and then Jericho came out after Snow threw a tantrum, and Jericho attacked him! Jericho has apparently challenged Snow to a match, but who knows when that will be? Right now, let's go backstage, where Jacob Goodman is standing by.

Backstage Interview

(Jacob Goodman is with the Perfect Event, and Katie Haynes.)

Goodman: Stasiak, Palumbo *long pause* ...Katie, you two are next up against the Hardyz. This team defeated Doring and Roadkill on Sunday, thanks to the help of Lita, who returned. Do the even odds affect you in any way?

Stasiak: Let me tell you something, Jacob. Ever since that attack that you did on us at that bar, we've been pretty pissed off. Until a couple of weeks ago, when we were on the road, and we got a call from someone. That someone was *points to Katie* HER. She said that she was sorry for you interfering with our plans. See, Jacob, you thought you were a hero. But you weren't. You were a pawn in our game. You managed to outsmart us in the end. But now the ball is in our court. And we plan on capitalizing on the situation. Katie, don't you have something to say to Jacob?

(Katie steps up to Goodman, and slaps him.)

Katie: How could you do that? How could you interfere with Shawn, Chuck, and my plans? How dare you!

(Katie goes to slap Jacob again, but Jacob puts a hand up, and gets a evil look in his eyes.)

Goodman: Now you listen to me, you stuck up bitch. I'm not about to take that---

(Stasiak grabs Goodman by his shirt collar and rams him up against the wall.)

Stasiak: Listen to me, you punk. We've had enough of you. When I let you off of this wall, you better go away, otherwise, we're going to have to injure you like we did last time.

(Stasiak lets Goodman go. Goodman looks at Stasiak, disgusted, and then leaves. Stasiak laughs and we go to commercial.)

(Commercials)

As we come back from commercials, we go straight to the ring.

Smith: This tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...

("The Stroke" plays, but only Katie Haynes comes out. The crowd boos her, as she enters the ring and asks for Robert's mic.)

Katie: Hello! I love Florida! I love this state so much, that I don't want to leave... until I see the trash here.

(Boos)

Katie: I'm serious, this town, this state is crawling with trash. They live in trailer parks here, and yet they try to act like they actually HAVE a life! HA! Anyways... my boys are coming out soon, and they'll teach these boys from "down south" how to wrestle. So, without further ado, here are my hunks, the Perfect Event!

(The crowd boos even more at the mention of the Perfect Event, and even more so at the appearance of them! They come down to the ring, enter it, and snuggle with Katie...before "Anthem For The Year 2000" plays, at which time the Perfect Event shoos Katie out of the ring, and the Hardyz with Lita come down to the ring.)

Smith: And their opponents...The Hardyz!

(The Hardyz slide into the ring and pose for the crowd, and then get ready for their tag match.)

The Perfect Event w/ Katie Haynes
vs.
The Hardyz w/ Lita

The Good: These two teams are hot off two wins on Sunday, and they managed to stay that way. The heat for each team was amazing, and the numerous "Katie's a ho" chants made their way through the arena for the first time.

The Bad: The involvement of the two ladies was a little excessive, but not as much as you would expect.

The Finish: Stasiak hit the Perfect Plant on Matt, but as he went for the cover, Lita slid in the ring, and pulled Shawn off at the last second. Shawn took offense to this, but instead of him attacking her, Katie came up from behind and pulled her down to the mat by Lita's hair. Katie started to wail away at Lita, but from the top, Jeff nailed Stasiak with a flying dropkick. Palumbo tried to come into the ring to stop the commotion, but Palumbo was met with a Twist of Fate, and Jeff then pulled Katie off of Lita, for some reason, gave Katie a kiss, then hit the Twist of Fate on HER! With Stasiak still out from the dropkick, Jeff quickly scaled the ropes, aimed, and NAILED the Swanton Bomb, covered, and got the upset win over the Perfect Event!

No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Hardyz defeated The Perfect Event when J. Hardy pinned Shawn Stasiak
with the Swanton Bomb in 0:13:46.
Rating: *

After the match, the Hardyz quickly pulled Lita out of the ring and carried her away. The Perfect Event were mad, but were trying to get medical attention for Katie. However, instead, "Land of Confusion" played, and the Perfect Event were baffled themselves, until the newly crowned WWAW Tag Team Champions came to the ring. Then it became clear who brought the champs out here: Jacob Goodman. The crowd popped at the sight of these 3 men, and Goodman sent Benoit and Kawada to the ring. They charged into the ring, and despite the Perfect Event's advantage as they slid in, the champs quickly reversed their fortunes! Kawada hit a Brain Buster on Palumbo, as Benoit locked on the Crippler Crossface across the face of Stasiak! Stasiak screamed in pain and tapped on the mat, but it was useless, as there was no ref to keep control! Finally, security ran down to the ring and managed to get Benoit off of Stasiak, but it was obvious that the damage had already been done. Unfortunately for the Perfect Event, they had just been destroyed by the WWAW Tag Team Champions.

Rutherford: Well, after a disappointing loss to the Hardyz, the Perfect Event's day got worse, as the tag champs, led by Jacob Goodman came down to the ring! They attacked the Perfect Event and just walked off! What's going to happen next on this show, folks?

Backstage

(Scott Norton is just arriving to the arena on a motorcycle. Norton gets off the motorcycle, as Jacob Goodman runs up to him.)

Goodman: Norton, Norton! Have you heard the news from earlier tonight?

Norton: ...No.

Goodman: You got a shot at Jarrett again tonight!

Norton: Who signed this match?

Goodman: President Ryder, of course.

(Norton storms past Jacob, most likely to the President's office. We go back to the ringside area.)

Rutherford: What was that all about? What is Norton going to talk about with the President? We'll see.

("Machinehead" interrupts Trent, as the crowd boos, and Mantaur comes down to the ring.)

Rutherford: ...Wha? Mantaur isn't scheduled to be out here right now, folks.

(Mantaur enters the ring and asks for a mic from the ring announcer. He gets it.)

Mantaur: Sunday wasn't a great night for me. I was defeated by Bill Goldberg, the man I despise. Tonight, however, I have a different agenda. That is, to destroy the one man who almost foiled my plans a few weeks ago. That man is Chris Jericho. On All Star Wrestling, while Danny Doring, Roadkill, and myself were taking on the Hardyz, Jericho moved a forklift away from Goldberg's locker room door, which the forklift hat been blocking, preventing Goldberg from coming down to the ring. Unfortunately, after Jericho's antics, Goldberg came down to the ring. Fortunately, I outsmarted him and his hillbilly friends, and escaped with a very satisfying win. However, I am not done yet. Jericho, get your ass out here, so I can kick it!

(Mantaur throws the mic down and gets ready, confident that Jericho will show up.... and he does. "Sleep Now In The Fire" plays, and the crowd cheers as Jericho comes running down to the ring. He slides in, but Mantaur meets him with some boots as a impromptu match begins!)

Mantaur
vs.
Chris Jericho

The Good: For some reason, the crowd was apparently waiting for this match up to occur, as they were definitely into the match. The fact that there was a background between these two wrestlers, including a stint together in the Hart-family-ran Stampede Wrestling, made the match even more emotional for both men.

The Bad: Though the match heat was there, the wrestling definitely wasn't there. Though Jericho tried his best, he could not make the big man Mantaur look *good*. Mantaur surely dragged down the quality of the match a great deal, despite the background of the match.

The Finish: After a while of Jericho messing around with Mantaur's mind and body, Mantaur had had enough and snapped on Jericho, nailing him with a powerslam, stomping away at Jericho, and then hitting another powerslam, and hitting the Stampede. The fans booed like crazy as Mantaur went for the pin and managed to get the 1-2-3 count from the ref!

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Mantaur pinned Chris Jericho with the Stampede in 0:14:14.
Rating: -1/4*

After the match, Mantaur celebrated, yet Jericho quickly recovered from the Stampede and started slugging it out with Mantaur. However, Al Snow ran out from the crowd, and behind Jericho, clubbed him with a...well....club. Jericho went down HARD, and Mantaur and Al Snow both attacked Jericho on the ground. Unfortunately for those two men, there would be one man who would not stand for such abuse. "The Game" played, and the crowd cheered as Chavo charged the ring. He entered the ring, and immediately threw Al Snow over the ropes. He then started to slug it out with Mantaur, though Mantaur didn't really slug back. Instead, after Chavo was done wailing on him, Mantaur grabbed Chavo by the throat, dragged him up into the air, and drove him down with force, pretty much knocking out Chavo. "Machinehead" plays, and the crowd boos Mantaur as he heads to the back.

Rutherford: What a wild night so far! What's going to happen next? We'll find out, after the break.

(Commercials)

As we return from break, we go backstage with Jacob Goodman.

Backstage Interview

(The former tag team champs, Vampiro and The Great Muta are with Jacob Goodman.)

Goodman: Vampiro, Muta, on Sunday, you lost your tag titles to a mystery tag team. Sure enough, when you two were a mystery tag team, you later won the straps yourself. What do you have to say about that?

Vampiro: We don't have to say anything. Tonight, President Ryder signed us a match between those two goons. Non-title, of course, but that won't matter, because it'll feel great to break the backs, the necks, the legs, and the arms of those two punks. Sooner or later though, Vampiro and Muta will be on top of the division again. And you can count on that.

(Vampiro and Muta walk off. We cut to Norton barging into President Ryder's office.)

Norton: So, you signed me in a match with Jarrett, eh?

Ryder: Yeah, just to be fair after Sunday night.

Norton: That's a good job, Jake. That's a real good job.

Ryder: Don't let me down.

Norton: Oh, don't worry, I won't.

(Norton leaves Ryder's offices in the arena, and Ryder just shakes his head, sits down in his chair, and sighs. We go back to the ringside area.)

Rutherford: Norton barged in for no reason? Norton has Jarrett later tonight for the WWAW gold, but can Norton finally capitalize on his dream, and capture the WWAW World Title? We'll find out by the end of tonight. Now, let's go to the ring for the next match.

Smith: This tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...

("Natural One" plays, and the crowd boos as Danny Doring and Roadkill come down to the ring. These two, the same two that lost to the Hardyz on Sunday thanks to Lita, don't look to be too happy at all.)

Smith: Danny Doring and Roadkill!

(Doring and Roadkill enter the ring, and await their opponents. "Guilty" plays, and the crowd cheers for Kronic as they come down to the ring.)

Smith: And their opponents... Kronic!

(Kronic enters the ring and stares Doring and Roadkill down.)

Danny Doring and Roadkill
vs.
Kronic

The Good: Doring and Roadkill have improved as of late, impressing some people. Also, Kronic's brute power impressed the fans, with the use of some big power moves on some big guys, like Roadkill.

The Bad: Both teams have a few more steps before they can be considered truly great.

The Finish: Doring ran at Brian Adams, but Adams caught him and drilled him with the Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. Clark had been fighting with Roadkill, and Adams covered Doring for the win!

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Kronic defeated Danny Doring and Roadkill when B. Adams pinned Doring with the
Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker in 0:09:55.
Rating: * 1/2

Roadkill came into the ring after the match, but Kronic caught him and hit him with the High Times, knocking him out cold. Kronic then left the ring.

Rutherford: Well, Roadkill made a mistake, and that was to try and stop Kronic. Instead of stopping the attacks on Doring, Kronic just shifted the attack to Roadkill, hit him with the High Times, and simply left the ring! Now, after a impressive win over Chavo Guerrero Jr. at Katastrophe, Corino is now determined to take the title away from Jarrett. However, he will now have to start beating some serious contenders to the title on a consistent basis. The quest to get to that goal begins tonight, as Corino will step into the ring against Jesse James. Let's go to the ring for the match.

Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...

("Come With Me" plays, and the crowd boos as Corino comes down to the ring.)

Smith: Steve Corino!

(The self-proclaimed King of Old School slides into the ring and taunts the crowd..."The Kings" plays, and the crowd cheers a little for the appearance of Jesse James. James comes down to the ring.)

Smith: And his opponent...Jesse James!

(James slides into the ring, but Corino quickly runs over and attacks James as he enters the ring, starting the match.)

Steve Corino
vs.
Jesse James

The Good: It seems that ever since the cage match against Al Snow, Jesse James has definitely improved his wrestling style. Corino was good, as expected from him lately. Combined, these two electrified the crowd, shockingly.

The Bad: Despite the talent in the ring, this match was too short for its own good.

The Finish: James whipped Corino into the ropes, Corino ducks a clothesline from James, bounces off the ropes, hits one of his owns, and signals for the end. James sneaks up behind Corino and gets a 2 count from a small package. Corino leaps out of the pin and gets to his feet, and as James got up, cracked him with a superkick, and signaled for the end again. This time, he picked up James, who was already in big trouble after the superkick, and Corino hit the Old School Expulsion and covered James for the win.

Steve Corino pinned Jesse James with the Old School Expulsion in 0:06:58.
Rating: * 1/4

After the match, Corino hadn't gotten enough of a piece of James, and continued to attack him. Finally, "Crush 'Em" played, and Corino stopped stomping James and lookd towards the entryway. There was an absolute roar from the crowd as Goldberg came down to the ring. Corino didn't have a look of fear in his eyes, but instead, looked pissed off that Goldberg had interrupted Corino's after-match attack. Corino waited for Goldberg to come in the ring, and that's what Goldberg did. After Corino gave Goldberg a few stomps after Goldberg slid in the ring, Goldberg tripped up Corino and locked on a leglock out of NOWHERE. Corino was in pain, but refused to give up, as security came down and told Goldberg to let go of the leglock. Eventually, Goldberg did so, and security held back Goldberg. However, Corino hadn't had enough, and looked under the ring for something. As Goldberg was being led away by security, Corino came up with a baseball bat from under the mat and started charging for Goldberg. Corino ran up in front of Goldberg, taunted him a bit, and then absolutely blasted him with the baseball bat. Goldberg drooped his head down, shook it, and then whipped it up and gave an evil look to Corino. Corino blasted Goldberg again, and again, and then just gave up, and clubbed Goldberg one more time in the gut, before throwing the bat down and going to the back.

Rutherford: It started with Corino attacking Jesse James after beating him. Goldberg runs down, and gets the advantage of Corino, but security takes Goldberg away. However, Corino grabs a ballbat from under the ring, runs up to Goldberg and gives him a few shots with it! How heinous can you get, Corino?!?! Anyways, even after that seemingly odd situation, we gotta continue the show. Even after getting nailed with that baseball bat, security is apparently going to calm down Goldberg and send him back out there! He'll face Chavo Guerrero Jr, in a rematch from the Number One Contender Tournament, NEXT!

(Commercials)

As we return from commercials, we see a clip of what happened during the break. Medics are checking on Goldberg, to make sure that he's ok from the baseball bat shots by Corino.

Medic #1: Are you experiencing any pain?

Goldberg: No...

Medic #2: Can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?

The medic holds up 4 fingers.

Goldberg: You're holding up 4 fingers, lady, now let me go out there and wrestle...

Medic #1: One last thing, are you absolutely sure that you can wrestle tonight.

Goldberg: YES!

Goldberg, in a rage, gets off the table, and tears past the medics, and out of the door. He grunts, and continues to walk down the hallway towards the ring.

Rutherford: Well, it looks like mentally, Goldberg is ready to face Chavo, but is he physically able to handle Chavo like he did in their 2 previous meetings? Let's go to the ring and find out.

Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first.

("The Game" plays, and the crowd gives a pop as Chavo Guerrero Jr. comes down to the ring.)

Smith: Chavo Guerrero Jr.!

(Chavo enters the ring, and waits for his opponent...."Crush 'Em" plays, and the crowd explodes in cheers for Goldberg as he comes out. He comes down to the ring.)

Smith: And his opponent...Goldberg!

(Goldberg slides into the ring and gets ready for his match against Chavo.)

Chavo Guerrero Jr.
vs.
Bill Goldberg

The Good: In the wrestlers' past 2 appearances, they electrified the crowd. This time was no different. Both men recieved lots of pops and chants for themselves, and it wasn't all for nothing. Goldberg and Chavo worked their asses off, and proved why they are two of the best wrestlers in the WWAW.

The Bad: Some thought that the replay value of this match was ridiculous, and that they were tired of seeing it over, and over, and over again.

The Finish: Goldberg whips Chavo into the ropes, but Chavo reverses it. Chavo leaps frog a charging Goldberg, who was probably going for the spear, Goldberg bounces off the ropes, Chavo tries to do the same thing, but Goldberg grabs Chavo in mid-air...SPINEBUSTER~! Cover from Goldberg... only a 2 count! Chavo gets to his feet before Goldberg, Goldberg charges, but it's reversed into a drop toe hold! Chavo attempts to lock on a bow-and-arrow, but Goldberg thrashes his arms, trying to deter the attempt. Chavo finally gives up and pulls Goldberg to his feet. Goldberg goes for an old school move and rakes the eyes of Chavo, dazing him. Goldberg nails a superkick on Chavo, smacking off of his chin. Goldberg gets poised for the spear, beckoning Chavo to get to his feet. Chavo gets to his feet, dazed in the corner, and Goldberg charges, but Chavo dodges the bullet again, and dodges Goldberg, allowing Goldberg to crash into the ring post, hard. Chavo went to the outside and dragged Goldberg out too, and started to slug it out with him. Goldberg fired back, whipped Chavo into the guardrail, and then threw him into the ring. Goldberg told Chavo to get up again, and Chavo couldn't dodge it this time, as Goldberg nailed Chavo with a spear! Goldberg called for the end, and dragged Chavo to his feet. Chavo goes under Goldberg's armpit, Goldberg sets it up, lifts Chavo into the air...and drops him! JACKHAMMER~! Goldberg already goes for the cover, one, two, three! It's over! Goldberg wins!

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Bill Goldberg pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the Jackhammer in 0:07:52.
Rating: * 3/4

The crowd cheered for the match, and gave it a standing ovation. Goldberg celebrated, and as he pulled Chavo to his feet, Chavo and him shook hands, and hugged, showing that they were still friends. However, Mantaur and Corino ran down and attacked Goldberg and Chavo. Corino and Mantaur kept teaming up to destroy Goldberg and Chavo, and eventually left them a mess. Mantaur and Corino turned to face each other, stared at each other for a while, and then shook hands.

Rutherford: Mantaur and Corino together?!?!? This could be a very evil alliance forming here tonight on Turbo from Florida. Goldberg and Chavo, however, could unite themselves to take down this possible alliance. Right now, let's flashback to Sunday at Katastrophe.

(We are treated to clips of the Benoit/Kawada vs. Vampiro/Muta tag team title match, voiced over by Rutherford.)

Rutherford: On Sunday, Vampiro/Muta came into the tag team title match defending their titles, however not knowing who their opponents are. However, we would find out soon enough, as Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada came down to the ring! In one of the best matches of the night, Benoit and Kawada eventually won the match, and the titles. Following the show, Jacob Goodman caught up with the losing team and asked them what they thought of the match. Here's what they had to say.

(We go to a clip of Jacob Goodman, backstage following the PPV with Vampiro and The Great Muta.)

Goodman: Vampiro, Muta, earlier tonight, you were defeated by Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada for your tag titles. What do you two have to say for yourselves?

Vampiro: Simple, Jacob. It's time for us to win them back, and as soon as possible. But not on Tuesday. Benoit, Kawada, we challenge you two to a non-title match on Tuesday. You don't have to accept, we now you will.

(We go back to the ringside area.)

Rutherford: Well, there you have it, let's go to the ring for this match.

Smith: This tag team match is a non-title match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...

("House of Horrors" played, and a mixed reaction is given to Vampiro and The Great Muta as they come down to the ring.)

Smith: Vampiro and The Great Muta!

(Vamp and Muta enter the ring and await their opponents.... "Land of Confusion" plays, and the crowd pops for the newly crowned WWAW Tag Team Champions, Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada as they come down to the ring.)

Smith: And their opponents...they are the WWAW Tag Team Champions...Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada!

(Benoit and Kawada enter the ring, and staredown their opposition.)

Non-Title Match
Vampiro and The Great Muta
vs.
Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada

The Good: Just like on Sunday, this match did not disappoint the fans. There was lots of technical, high-flying, tag team, and power wrestling Also resembling Sunday, these two teams went the distance, although it was a little shorter than Sunday's match.

The Bad: You have got to be kidding me. There was nothing wrong with this match, except for the fact that we can't always have a match like this one.

The Finish: Benoit hit a German Suplex on Muta, and went for the cover, but Vampiro broke it up. Kawada came across and hit a brutal clothesline on Vampiro, and then picked him up, hitting him with a Tiger suplex. Meanwhile, Muta went for a misting of Benoit as Benoit was distracted thanks to Kawada's attack on Vampiro. However, Benoit ducked the mist, and went low, sweeping the legs from under Muta. Benoit rushed over and locked on the Crippler Crossface, as Kawada continued to kick Vampiro on the ground. Muta tapped, and the crowd went wild as Benoit and Kawada picked up the win!

No-Time-Limit-Non-Title-Match:
Toshiaki Kawada and Chris Benoit defeated Vampiro and The Great Muta when Benoit
made Muta submit to the Crippler Crossface in 0:16:20.
Rating: ****

Benoit and Kawada stopped what they were doing after the match, and calmly walked off with their belts, showing intensity. However, Muta and Vampiro began to stalk them up the ramp, and once they got to the top of the ramp, Kawada and Benoit finally noticed Vampiro and Muta, and attacked them! They went back and forth, but Vamp and Muta got the advantage! Vampiro hit the Nail in the Coffin on Kawada, making Kawada's head bounce off the cold, hard, unforgiving steel. Together, Vampiro and Muta worked over Benoit, wearing him down, and then dragging him to the edge of the elevated ramp. Vamp started to climb the scaffolding near the WWAW-Tron, used to set up light fixtures, as Muta lifted Benoit up on his shoulders. This happened in front of Vampiro, and Vampiro leaped off the fixture, grabbed Benoit and drove him down with a facebuster. However, the two went THROUGH the ramp, breaking it and sending them collapsing to the floor below. Muta, shocked by this happening, looked down into the chasm, and Vampiro popped out! Muta and Vampiro laughed, successfully taking out the WWAW Tag Team Champions.

Rutherford: Wow! Vampiro and Muta have brutalized the WWAW Tag Team Champions! What can happen next on Turbo? We'll find out, after this commercial break!

(Commercials)

As we return from commercials, we go backstage with Jacob Goodman.

Backstage Interview

(Jacob Goodman is with the WWAW World Champion, Jeff Jarrett.)

Goodman: Jarrett, in just a few moments, you will be defending your WWAW World Title against Scott Norton in a rematch from Sunday and Katastrophe. You barely won Sunday, and you did it with help, so what makes you think you'll walk out with the title tonight?

Jarrett: Jacob, Jacob, Jacob.... you never learn, do you? See, if you knew who you were talking to, you'd realize that I, the Chosen One, doesn't need to worry about punks like Scott Norton, who decide to turn their back on me after I thought I had their trust.
