WWAW Tuesday Night Firestorm
Aired LIVE 4/4/2001
(We see clips from All Star Wrestling, including Ryder breaking up Jarrett and Norton's fight at the beginning of the show, Snow trying to apologize for throwing a tantrum, but Jericho not accepting and kicking Snow's ass, Goldberg interfering in Corino's match, only to have an after-match attack from Goldberg blow up in his face, Mantaur and Corino later teaming up to beat the tar out of Chavo Guerrero Jr, only to have Goldberg make the save. Finally, Jarrett, who came back from getting a day off, attacked Norton, giving Norton a DQ win, only to have that mysterious person come back on in shadowed form.)
("Neckbone" brings us into Firestorm, for some LIVE WWAW action! We are...of course, LIVE, in the Tupelo Coliseum in Tupelo, Mississippi, and tonight promises to be a big night for WWAW. We go down to ringside with Trent Rutherford to give us the scoop on what's going down tonight.)
Rutherford: Welcome fans, to Firestorm, live from Mississippi! Tonight should be a very big night for WWAW, as Jeff Jarrett will be here to defend his WWAW Title, and so, so much more! But, back to the story on Jarrett, he's here tonight in Mississippi to defend his WWAW Title. But the big story is who he's facing. Tonight, live for the first time in WWAW history, the WWAW has allowed a title unification match to occur. Tonight, Jeff Jarrett, with his WWAW World Heavyweight Title, will take on the Japanese superstar Mitsuharu Misawa for Misawa's NOAH Global Honor Crown Heavyweight Title. This is a very big honor to all of us here at WWAW, and we welcome Mitsuharu and wish him the best in the ring. Later on tonight, we will be speaking with the WWAW Champion, Jarrett, and even with Misawa himself. But for right now, let's go to the ring for the opening match of the night.
(We go to the ring for the match.)
Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
("The Game" plays, and the crowd gives a fairly large pop to Chavo Guerrero Jr. as he comes down to the ring.)
Smith: From El Paso, Texas, Chavo Guerrero Jr.!
(Chavo slides into the ring and prepares for his opponent.)
Rutherford: Chavo better be on the lookout for Mantaur, he could be lurking anywhere right now...
Smith: And his opponent...
("We Be Clubbin'" plays, and the crowd gives a small pop to Buff Bagwell as he comes down to the ring.)
Smith: From Marietta, Georgia, Buff Bagwell!
(Bagwell enters the ring and gets prepared for the match.)
Chavo Guerrero Jr.
vs.
Buff Bagwell
The Good: This match was a basic match, with a few pinfalls, and little action.
The Bad: Not much.
The Finish: Buff didn't stand much of a chance, as Chavo Guerrero worked him over and then hit the Tornado DDT for the 1, 2, 3 and the win.
No-Time-Limit-Match
Chavo Guerrero Jr. pinned Buff Bagwell with the Tornado DDT in 0:07:59.
Rating: ** 1/2
Smith: Here is your winner, Chavo Guerrero Jr.!
After the match, Chavo left the ring and simply started walking towards the back. Unfortunately, waiting for him at the entryway was MANTAUR. Mantaur grabbed Chavo by the throat and began to choke him out. Chavo gasped for air and called for help, but no one seemed to come to his rescue, until "Crush 'Em" played, and the crowd immediately popped, and Mantaur got a strange look on his face. He let go Chavo from the chokehold, and then turned around to see Goldberg come walking out. Mantaur and Goldberg stared each other down, until Corino attacked Goldberg from behind. Mantaur and Corino double teamed Goldberg until security came out to break up the mess.
Rutherford: Well, an attack on Chavo from Mantaur brought out Goldberg, but Corino attacked Goldberg from behind, and Mantaur and Corino have gotten the best of Goldberg and Chavo once again tonight. But will the fortunes be reversed? Only time will tell. Tonight, we recieved word that there would be a new tag team debuting. This tag team would be such a surprise to all of us, that none of us would ever predict it or see it coming. Tonight, Danny Doring and Roadkill will take on this team. And to be perfectly honest, I don't even know who the team is. But, let's go to the ring for this match.
Smith: This match is a tag match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
("Natural One" plays, and the crowd boos as Roadkill comes out with Doring on his shoulders. Doring flips off the crowd, generating even more boos from the crowd.)
Smith: Danny Doring and Roadkill!
(Doring gets off the shoulders of Roadkill, and hops into the ring, Roadkill following him. They enter the ring, and await their opponents, as does everyone else in the arena that knows.)
Smith: And their opponents...
("Dead Bodies Everywhere" by Korn plays, and the crowd looks towards the entryway, as the vast majority of them don't know that there is a tag team debuting tonight. And through the entryway, comes...STING AND THE UNDERTAKER!! HOLY CRAP!! The crowd recognizes both of the faces and cheers immediately. Sting, in "Crow" form, and the Undertaker, reverting back to his old "Phenom" persona, begin to slowly walk down towards the ring. The crowd doesn't stop cheering as they continue to walk.)
Smith: Sting and The Undertaker!
(Sting and The Undertaker get in the ring and get ready for the match. The crowd finally quiets down a bit, but not to the point that it's tolerable. A huge chant of "Sting and Taker" starts up, and Doring and Roadkill react to it by trying to get the fans to shut up.)
Danny Doring and Roadkill
vs.
Sting and The Undertaker
The Good: The crowd must have been shocked at the appearance of Sting and The Undertaker, but at the same time, they were excited. The crowd was definitely into this match, constantly booing Doring and Roadkill whenever they gained advantage of Sting and 'Taker.
The Bad: Roadkill might have been a little affected by the appearance of Sting and The Undertaker, and was a little nervous, and it showed very much.
The Finish: The Undertaker is tagged in by Sting, and starts cleaning house. He nails Roadkill, nails Doring, who is not the legal man, and then Doring rolls out of the ring. Undertaker calls for the Tombstone, and attempts to do it on Roadkill, but he can't lift Roadkill up, and Roadkill reverses it with an elbow followed with a short clothesline. Roadkill tags out to Doring, who comes and and starts to stomp away at the Undertaker. However, the Undertaker rises up and grabs Doring by the throat, as if to do the chokeslam. However, Roadkill comes into the ring and clubs Undertaker from the behind. As the ref scolds Roadkill, Doring pulls out something from his tights that looks like a pair of brass knuckles. As Undertaker tries to get the ref's attention, Doring turns Undertaker around and takes a swing at him with the knucks. However, Undertaker blocks it, kicks Doring in the midsection, and then hits an impressive swinging neckbreaker. Undertaker attempts to get to the corner to tag in Sting, but Doring stops Undertaker, trips him up, and then hits him with an elbow. Doring calls for the Danaconda, hits it, and goes for the cover...
ONE...
TWO..
NO! STING MAKES THE SAVE!
The crowd gasps at the close count, and Roadkill comes in to even up the sides. He and Sting battle to the outside, as Doring drags Undertaker to his feet. He goes for a spinning headscissors, but 'Taker grabs Doring and throws him down. 'Taker climbs to the top and attempts a flying clothesline, but Doring moves out of the way. Doring picks up Taker and tries to throw him into the turnbuckle, but 'Taker reverses it and sends Doring into the corner. Undertaker hits a roundhouse right, but gets a second punch gets blocked and reversed, as Roadkill runs back into the ring to attack 'Taker. However, Sting catches up with him and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Roadkill, to a HUGE pop. Undertaker whips Doring into the ropes, but Doring reverses it. Doring and Undertaker hit each other with a double clothesline, which Doring gets up first on. He hits a Hotshot on Undertaker, and then tags out to Roadkill. However, Roadkill is too slow, and Undertaker tags out to Sting. Sting jumps in and goes to work on Roadkill. Sting hits a clothesline on Roadkill, and then Roadkill tried to get crafty, hitting a low blow and going for an inverted power bomb. However, Sting blocked it, whipped Roadkill into the ropes, and then hit him with an elbow that sent Roadkill into the corner. Sting then called for, and hit the Stinger Splash, stunning Roadkill. Then, Sting calls for the Scorpion Death Drop, as the crowd goes crazy, and then Doring runs in and tries to screw up the process. But Undertaker comes raging in with a big boot to the face of Doring, and giving Sting a clear chance. Sting takes advantage of this and hits the Scorpion Death Drop and goes for the cover...

Smith: Your winners, Sting and The Undertaker!
After the match, the crowd erupted into cheers and chants of "Sting and Taker". Doring and Roadkill were left laying in the ring as Sting and The Undertaker walked off to a standing ovation.
Rutherford: Well, there you have it. WWAW has Sting and The Undertaker now, and the crowd loves it here in Mississippi. Right now, let's go backstage with Jacob Goodman.
Backstage Interview
(Jacob Goodman is with the Hardyz.)
Goodman: Jeff, Matt, later tonight, you two will face Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada, the current WWAW Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. After everything you two have been through, and everything that has happened, don't you think that it is a good time to finally make a name for yourselves?
Matt: No doubt, Jacob. Ever since we've came here, we've been thrown around and represented the WWAW punching bag. But no more. Tonight, it's time to take back our pride, so we can walk on our own two feet, knowing that there is nothing better than to beat the hell out of the Tag Team Champions.
(Matt and Jeff walk off, and we go to commercials.)
(Commercials)
As we return from commercials, we go backstage, where Al Snow is chatting with a WWAW official.
Official: So, Al, aren't you scared about your match tonight?
Snow: What's there to be scared about? I'm facing Jesse James.
Official: Uh..oh yeah... that's right.
(The official walks off, shaking his head. Snow cocks his eyebrow, but thinks nothing of what's just happened.)
Rutherford: I don't think Al Snow realizes one thing. Jesse James missed his flight today to get to the arena. James is NOT here. And President Ryder has just ordered, that Scott Norton take on Al Snow. Yet, Snow doesn't know yet. What a pleasant surprise that will be for Snow. Let's go to the ring.
Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
("Intergalactic" plays, and the crowd immediately boos as Al Snow begins to come down to the ring.)
Smith: From Lima, Ohio, Al Snow!
(Snow slides into the ring, and awaits his opponent... he has a cocky smile on his face, like he knows that he can beat Jesse James. Well, he probably could, but he still doesn't know..)
Smith: And his opponent...
("Fuel" plays, and the crowd explodes, as Snow suddenly has a look of fear on his face. Norton comes down to the ring, but stops mid-way to raise his hands in the air, drawing a big pop from the crowd. Snow continues to have a shocked look on his face as Norton continues to walk towards the ring.)
Smith: From Minneapolis, Minnesota, Scott Norton!
(Norton enters the ring, and Snow promptly exits the ring, in fear of the big man. However, the ref scolds Snow and tells him to get back into the ring right now, or face disqualification. Snow shakes his head, but the ref still stands by his word. Finally, Snow gets into the ring and the ref calls for the bell.)
Al Snow
vs.
Scott Norton
The Good: The appearance of Scott Norton this early in the show was a very big surprise for most of the people in attendance. Many chants of "NORTON" could be heard echoing through the arena, being said OVER and OVER and OVER.
The Bad: Al Snow has lost a step from his prime days, but Snow has still got some juice left, fortunately.
The Finish: Snow whips Norton into the ropes, but Snow misses a shoulderblock. Norton gets a big boot in the face of Snow as Norton rebounds off the other ropes, and goes for the pin, but only gets a one count. Norton then hits a gutwrench suplex, goes for the cover, only gets two, hits another gutwrench, and still only gets two. Norton, finally getting frustrated, drags Snow to his feet. Kick to the midsection... he's setting him up!!! POWERBOMB! POWERBOMB! POWERBOMB! Norton goes for the cover...

Scott Norton pinned Al Snow with the Powerbomb in 0:02:23.
Rating: **
Smith: Here is your winner, Scott Norton!
The crowd pops big time, as Norton raises his hands in the air once again, this time for celebration. Snow rolls out of the ring quickly, holding his back in pain, and showing that he is in pain. However, as he walked towards the entryway, Jericho popped out and immediately started attacking Snow. Norton laughed as Jericho dominated Snow, hitting a piledriver on the steel, making Al's head bounce off of the cold, hard, steel.
Rutherford: Well, it's been a rough night for Al Snow, as it has been for the past few nights. Snow found out the hard way that Jesse James missed his flight, as Norton came out and just killed Snow, and then Jericho added insult to injury by beating the hell out of Snow. Snow is definitely going to be looking for revenge soon. Right now, let's go backstage where Jacob Goodman is standing by.
Backstage Interview
(Jacob Goodman is with the NOAH Global Honor Crown Heavyweight Champion, Mitsuharu Misawa.)
Goodman: Misawa, tonight, you will defend your title against our federation's champion, Jeff Jarrett. Some Japanese wrestling fans may already know how dangerous you are in the ring. The question is, can you be just as nasty in the United States against the top man in this company?
Misawa: You want me to be dangerous? Just wait until later tonight. Things are going to get dangerous.
(Misawa walks off, as Goodman has a shocked look on his face. We go back to ringside.)
Rutherford: Let's go to the ring for the next match.
Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
("Greyhound Pt. 2" plays, and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to Rikishi Phatu as he starts to walk towards the ring.)
Smith: From Samoa, Rikishi Phatu!
(Rikishi enters the ring and awaits his opponent... "Come With Me" plays, and the crowd explodes into boos as Steve Corino comes down to the ring.)
Smith: And his opponent... from Sea City Isle, New Jersey, Steve Corino!
Rikishi Phatu
vs.
Steve Corino
The Good: Steve Corino is still on the top of his game, and this match is just another stepping stone for him to get to the top.
The Bad: Rikishi Phatu couldn't keep up with the wrestling style of Corino, and paid for it big time.
The Finish: Rikishi lifts up Corino for a powerslam, but Corino shifts his weight, falling on Rikishi in a cross body position, rolling Rikishi up for the 1, 2, 3 and the win!
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Steve Corino pinned Rikishi Phatu after a high cross body in 0:08:42.
Rating: 3/4*
Smith: Here is your winner, Steve Corino!
After the match, Corino celebrates his victory in the ring, until Goldberg comes running out. Corino bails out, just in time to avoid Goldberg.
Rutherford: Wow, what a match! Let's go to commercial!
(Commercials)
As we return from commercials, we go backstage, where Jacob Goodman is standing by.
Backstage Interview
(Jacob Goodman is with the WWAW Tag Team Champions Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada.)
Goodman: Benoit, Kawada, you told me you have an announcement to make to the fans and especially to the Hardyz?
Benoit: That's right, Jacob. Tonight, instead of it being a non-title match, we decided to be considerate. Since we are going to pummel the Hardyz into the ground as it is, we decided to defend our titles tonight against those two punks. That's all, Goodman.
(Benoit and Kawada walk off, titles on their shoulders.)
Rutherford: So, the tag team match scheduled for tonight pitting Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada against the Hardyz has been changed from a non-title match to a WWAW Tag Team Title Match! In fact, that match is next, so let's go to it now!
Smith: This match is a tag team match scheduled for one fall and is for the WWAW Tag Team Titles! Introducing first...
("Anthem For The Year 2000" plays, and Lita leads the way for the Hardyz as they make their way down to the ring.)
Smith: Accompanied by Lita, The Hardyz!
(Jeff and Matt enter the ring, and await their opponents...)
Smith: And their opponents...
("Land of Confusion" plays, and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada, the WWAW Tag Team Champions, as they come down to the ring.)
Smith: They are the WWAW Tag Team Champions, Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada!
(Kawada and Benoit slide into the ring, but the Hardyz jump them and attack them to start the match early!)
WWAW Tag Team Titles Match
The Hardyz w/ Lita
vs.
Chris Benoit/Toshiaki Kawada
The Good: This match came out of nowhere, and it was a good thing, because the crowd was definitely into it. This crowd was a pro-Hardyz crowd, but there were still pops and applause for good spot-fests, which there was a lot of.
The Bad: Nothing.
The Finish: Matt Hardy is in the ring with Toshiaki Kawada. Jeff Hardy enters the ring to make it two-on-one, and Benoit enters the ring, only to have the ref cut him off, and tell him to go back to his corner. Benoit argues that the Hardyz are both in the ring, but the ref will have none of it. The Hardyz hit a double suplex, and Jeff rolls out of the ring. Kawada gets to his feet, only to get a spinning headscissors from Matt Hardy. Matt drags Kawada to his feet and goes for a German Suplex, but Kawada blocks the move, and somehow locks on a standing short arm scissors. Matt doesn't look in that much pain, but Kawada puts it on tight, and now Matt is in pain. Jeff tries to enter the ring, but Benoit cuts him off with a huge clothesline. Matt is in trouble, and finally gives up, giving Benoit and Kawada the win by submission.
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada defeated The Hardyz when Kawada made M. Hardy
submit to a standing short arm scissors in 0:06:52.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada retained the WWAW World Tag Team Titles.)
Smith: Here are your winners, and still WWAW Tag Team Champions, Chris Benoit and Toshiaki Kawada!
After the match, the crowd popped for Benoit and Kawada, as they put on a nice match. However, Benoit grabbed a mic from Robert Smith.
Benoit: That was a great example of how much ass we kick around here. Now, we've had some problems with Vampiro and The Great Muta lately, simply because we beat them fair and square for the WWAW Tag Team belts, the same belts we have around our waists right now. So Vamp, Muta, get your asses out here and we'll settle this right now!
Rutherford: I don't know what Benoit has up his sleeve, but it might be something.
("House of Horrors" interrupts Trent's thoughts, and the crowd gives a slight pop to Vampiro and The Great Muta as they come down to the ring. They slowly walk their way down to the ring, and then slide into the ring, and look at Benoit and Kawada.)
Benoit: So, you two punks, do you wanna get your asses kicked again, or what?
(Vampiro and Muta say nothing, but instead attack Benoit and Kawada. The two teams slug it out, until "The Stroke" interrupts them. They look over to the entryway, and see the Perfect Event come out, to a HUGE amount of boos. They run down to the ring and join the melee. Finally, after a little bit of brawling, security comes down and seperates the 3 teams. However, "Lit Up" plays, and the crowd goes wild as President Ryder is at the entryway!)
Ryder: Boys! BOYS! Let's calm down a bit. Now, Benoit, Kawada, you think that Vampiro and Muta are jealous of you two having the belts. Vamp, Muta, you two don't like Benoit and Kawada, that I understand. But, Stasiak, Palumbo...what the hell are you two doing out here?
(Stasiak picks up a mic.)
Stasiak: If you want to know why we are here, you can only look as far as those belts.
Ryder: Ah, so you all want the belts?
Stasiak: Ya damn right we want those belts.
Ryder: Well, that can be arranged. See, our pay-per-view this month is in Atlanta. And since it's gonna be the biggest pay-per-view in WWAW history, let's make it a little more historical. Because right there, in Atlanta, you three teams will go at it. That's right, Benoit, Kawada, you two will be defending your titles against The Perfect Event AND Vampiro and Muta!
(The crowd pops at that announcement, and the three teams look at each other, and go at it some more! Security is quick this time, and more come down to seperate the 3 teams and carry them away.)
Rutherford: Well.. what started out as a simple WWAW Tag Team Title Match has escalated into a full-scale brawl! Also, we have our first match for our April pay-per-view, and that is a triangle tag team match for the WWAW Tag Team Titles! Benoit and Kawada will defend their titles against the Perfect Event and Vampiro and The Great Muta! What a match that will be! Right now, let's go backstage, where Jacob Goodman is standing by.
Backstage Interview
(Jacob Goodman is with WWAW Champion, Jeff Jarrett.)
Goodman: Jeff Jarrett, tonight, you face your hardest challenge, most likely, in the NOAH Global Honor Crown Heavyweight Champion, Mitsuharu Misawa. It should be a great match, indeed. Any thoughts?
Jarrett: Listen up, slapass. I don't care what country a wrestler is from. They could be from Mexico, Canada, England, Russia, Japan, I DON'T CARE! Because The Chosen One, at the end of the night, will still be WWAW Champion. As for that NOAH Title, whatever it is, I don't see much use for it myself, but I guess it'll just be another piece on the mantle, so to speak. But it's absurd to think that the Chosen One is going down tonight, because if anything, Misawa, it's your ass who is going to get the Stroke. And if you don't like it, you can choke on it, slapass!
(Jarrett walks off.)
Rutherford: Well, both participants in tonight's BIG unification match are here tonight! And they are definitely ready! Who will come out on top? Only time will tell... let's go to the ring for the next match.
Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first...
("Blue Monday" plays, and the crowd boos as Michael Modest makes his way to the ring.)
Smith: From New York City, New York, Michael Modest!
(Modest enters the ring, and awaits his opponent. "Party Up" plays, and for some reason, people remember who it is, as they begin to raise the roof. Sure enough, Booker T comes out, and is raising the roof himself. He begins to walk towards the ring.)
Smith: And his opponent, from Harlem, New York, Booker T!
(Booker enters the ring, and gets in a stare down with Modest before the match even begins!)
Michael Modest
vs.
Booker T
The Good: The debut of Booker T in ring action was well recieved, as he lit the place on fire! His athleticism, combined with his charisma got the crowd on their feet. Modest was awesome tonight, as well.
The Bad: Nothing.
The Finish: Michael Modest locks up with Booker T, and hits a waistlock suplex. Modest goes for the cover...

Rating: ** 3/4
Smith: Here is your winner, Booker T!
After the match, Booker drags Modest to his feet and gives him a handshake, to a loud pop!
Rutherford: Well, that was a nice show of sportsmanship from Booker, as it was a great match between Booker and Modest. Up next is our main event, the unification title match we've been talking about all night! When we come back, we'll have that match, so don't go away now!
(Commercials)
We return from commercials, and we go STRAIGHT to the ring.
Smith: This match is scheduled for one fall and is a unification match! The titles at stake are the WWAW World Heavyweight Title and the NOAH Global Honor Crown Heavyweight Title! Introducing first...
("Bulls On Parade" by Rage Against The Machine plays, and the crowd looks towards the entryway. Mitsuharu Misawa comes out, and fireworks are flying! The crowd pops for the Japanese superstar, as he walks towards the ring, with the NOAH GHC Heavyweight Title around his waist.)
Smith: He is the NOAH Global Honor Crown Heavyweight Champion, from Saitama, Japan, Mitsuharu Misawa!
(Misawa slides into the ring, and holds his title in the air, generating a pop. "Cowboy" plays, and the boos begin immediately, as Jeff Jarrett comes down to the ring, with his guitar on his right shoulder, and the WWAW Title on the left shoulder. Jarrett continues to walk down to the ring, with a cocky look on his face.)
Smith: And his opponent...he is the WWAW World Heavyweight Champion, from Memphis, Tennessee, Jeff Jarrett!
(Jarrett enters the ring, stands on a turnbuckle, and throws his title in the air for everyone to see! The bell rings, and we are ready to go!)
Main Event
Title Unification Match

Mitsuharu Misawa
vs.
Jeff Jarrett
The Good: Wow. Just...wow. The crowd was so into it, you couldn't hear yourself think. Every fleeting moment of this match, and the crowd wasn't quiet for a bit. This match went on for a long time, but was a very, very good match.
The Bad: It was a very, very, good match, what could be wrong with it?!
The Finish: Jarrett whips Misawa into the ropes, and clotheslines Misawa over the top! Jarrett goes to the outside, and starts stomping away on Misawa. Jarrett drags Misawa to his feet... Jarrett tries to whip Misawa into the ring steps, but Misawa reverses it, sending Jarrett crashing into the ring steps. Misawa gets back into the ring, and Jarrett crawls back in. Misawa hits a vicious kick to the gut of Jarrett, making a loud smack and generating "OHH's" from the crowd. Misawa then calls for the Tiger Driver. He picks up Jarrett and goes for the Tiger Driver, but Jarrett gets to his knees and nails Misawa with a low blow. Jarrett tries to go for the Stroke, but Misawa elbows himself out of it, locks up with Jarrett, and hits a vertical suplex, knocking both men's wind out! Misawa is the first to his feet, with Jarrett close to follow. Jarrett charges at Misawa with a clothesline, but Misawa ducks it and hits a dropkick, sending Jarrett to the apron. Misawa grabs Jarrett, and suplexes him to the inside. Misawa goes for the cover...
ONE...
TWO...
KICKOUT!
The crowd can't believe how close that was, as Misawa drags Jarrett to his feet. Misawa whips Jarrett into the ropes, and is going to work on him! A series of kicks brings Jarrett down, and Misawa gets Jarrett to his feet again. Jarrett is whipped into the ropes, but the ref is in the line of fire, and Jarrett collides with the ref. Misawa makes up for his mistake and clobbers Jarrett, sending him to the outside. They go to the outside, and Jarrett trips up Misawa, and hits a elbow crush to the leg of Misawa. Jarrett reaches under the ring... he's got a guitar! Misawa is getting to his feet, and is pinned in front of the ring post. Here comes Jarrett... he swings... but Misawa DUCKS! The guitar shatters on the pole, leaving pieces on the ring floor. Misawa takes advantage of the situation, and locks Jarrett up, and hits a DDT! Misawa throws Jarrett into the ring, and is going to go for the Tiger Driver! The crowd is on their feet as Misawa picks up Jarrett for the Tiger Driver... he hits it! IT'S ALL OVER!!!! Misawa is exhausted though, and wastes a lot of time going for the cover. When he finally does, the ref makes the count...

THR--NO!! KICKOUT! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!
Misawa can't believe it, either. He calls for the Tiger Driver again, but this time, Jarrett hits a low blow to counter it again, and this time, locks Misawa in for... THE STROKE! THE STROKE! I DON'T BELIEVE IT! JARRETT GOES FOR THE COVER!

???: Jarrett... in Atlanta, I'm gonna get you. But I'm coming for you sooner than that. Watch your back, Jeff.
The lights come back on, and Jarrett is scared out of his mind. The show ends with a close-up look of Jarrett.
