WWAW Tuesday Turbo
1/15/2001

(Video clips are shown, showing the incidents of the past week, including the triumph of Jarrett and Norton at the end of Turbo last week, and the triumph of Jericho on All Star Wrestling.)

("Neckbone" plays, and we are live for Turbo, from the Pepsi Center in Colorado! We are a short 13 days away from Winter Blast, the WWAW's first PPV! We go immediately backstage with Jacob Goodman.)

Goodman: Welcome fans. We had said that President Jake Ryder was to appear tonight on Turbo live from Colorado, however, he said he wanted to hold off until next week. He said he would announce how the World Title will be decided, at the Winter Blast PPV. We can only wait. However, in my conversation with him, he said that tonight, there will be a triangle tag team match between The Perfect Event, Kronic, and the Hardyz. He said that Doring and Roadkill should be asked to stay in the back and not get involved in this match. He also said that for the main event tonight, live in Colorado, that Buff Bagwell would face Jeff Jarrett in a non-disqualification match. These two matches are just a couple of matches along with others tonight, live on Turbo! The President has also said that if any further contact between two wrestlers namely the following he has listed, occurs, then they will both be given a hefty fine and suspension. The following have this rule applied to them: Perry Saturn and Steve Corino, Road Dogg and Chris Kanyon, Al Snow and Rikishi Phatu, Jeff Jarrett and Chris Jericho, Scott Norton and Chavo Guerrero Jr. I think the President made this announcement to make sure that tonight, we will have fair matches. Anyways, enjoy tonight.

Interview

(Chris Kanyon comes down to the ring to boos.)

Kanyon: I was told by someone in the back, that I couldn't do anything to Jesse James, and he couldn't do anything to me. Well, that's good news for me, because tonight, I'm gonna beat that freak Al Snow, and then I'm gonna destroy his little Head.

(WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT???? Snow shows up at the top of the ramp with a mic.)

Snow: Chris Kanyon, let's make our match Hardcore Rules!

Kanyon: Fine, you got it.

(Snow reaches back and pulls out a can of weapons.)

Snow: Let's get it on!

Hardcore Match
Al Snow vs. Chris Kanyon

Summary: Snow didn't get a chance to use his trash can full of weapons, as Kanyon made surprisingly short work of him.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match
Chris Kanyon pinned Al Snow after a fireman's carry into a flapjack in 0:02:54.
Rating: * 3/4

After the match, Kanyon left, but Rikishi of all people came down and took Head! He ran off, and then when Snow got to his feet, he realized Head was gone and started to rant and rave! He ran backstage to find Head.

Backstage

(Jacob Goodman is with Chris Jericho.)

Goodman: Chris, you are going to fight Perry Saturn next, and I'd just like to say, good luck.

Jericho: Good luck? Chris, I don't need good luck to beat someone like that cross-eyed stupid Perry Saturn. Jeff Jarrett, I can't wait to hear the President's announcement next week, because I know, that it has to be me and you. We'll fight for the top of the mountain, and in the end, Y2J will stand supreme.

(Suddenly, Al Snow runs into Jericho.)

Snow: CHRIS! CHRIS! Have you seen my Head?!

Jericho: No, Al, I think you lost it a long time ago.

Snow: No, no! Someone must have stole it or something, because I can't find it now!!

Jericho: Stole your head? OH! Your plastic Head.

Snow: Plastic head? What are you talking about?

Jericho: ...Forget it... listen, I think I saw Rikishi take it, why don't you go find him?

Snow: Thanks.

Jericho: No problem...

(As Snow is gone and out of earshot.)

Jericho: ....What a weirdo.

Goodman: No argument here.

Perry Saturn vs. Chris Jericho

Summary: In a great match, Saturn and Jericho went toe for toe, and took it to each other. At about 12 minutes, Saturn hit a tiger suplex and bridged it into a pin. Tim White made a very controversial count, and Jericho argued it. Tim White said he did what he did, and gave the win to Saturn.

Perry Saturn pinned Chris Jericho after a tiger suplex in 0:12:06.
Rating: ** 1/4

After the match, you could easily see Jericho get pissed. He went after Saturn, and hit him with a clothesline, and as Saturn rolled out, Tim White was left alone with Jericho.. White tried to leave, but Jericho pulled him back in by the legs and locked on the Walls of Jericho!!! Jericho held it in tight as White was in pain and was tapping even! The other refs and a few security guards came down to get Jericho off White, but Jericho's response said it all.

Jericho: GET THE **** AWAY!

Still, the officials wouldn't give up. They finally got Jericho to let go, but the damage had been done, and Tim White was definetly hurt.

Backstage

(Al Snow is still on the search for Rikishi Phatu.)

Snow: Rikishi? You know you can't fight me, so just give me Head back!

(Snow looks into a locker room, sees nothing, and then walks away from it... when he's a long ways away, another locker room door opens and Rikishi silently creeps out, and walks away. Snow doesn't see a thing... Rikishi vs. Corino, next!)

(Commercials)

Rikishi Phatu vs. Steve Corino

Summary: Rikishi came down to the ring with Head, and placed it in his corner. During the match, we see Snow watching the match, and then noticing Head..

Al Snow: HEAD! IT'S HEAD!

We see Snow run off, and meanwhile, in the ring, Rikishi is dominating. Snow runs down and grabs for Head, distracting Rikishi and making him try to get Snow. Rikishi gets Snow and tries to get Head as well, but Corino pulls him off, turns him around, and takes control of the match. Rikishi couldn't make a comeback, and in an upset victory, Steve Corino wins with the Superkick!

Steve Corino pinned Rikishi Phatu with the Superkick in 0:08:10.
Rating: * 3/4

Rikishi doesn't look too pleased after the match...

Backstage

(Jacob Goodman is backstage alone.)

Goodman: I recieved a letter today that said that someone wanted to speak with me at this time, so I'll expect him any minute.

(As it turns out, coming onto camera are the Perfect Event.)

Goodman: Oh.. it's you two.

Stasiak: Yeah, it is you damn monkey. If you think that you can get other teams to defend your honor in the ring, then we'll show your buddies the Hardyz what it's liked to be smacked around by the Perfect Event.

Goodman: But Kronic is in the next match as well.

Stasiak: The Perfect Event and Kronic are on the same page.

Goodman: You really think so?

Stasiak: Yeah, I do.

Goodman: What makes you think they won't turn around and kick your asses?

Stasiak: You think those two dumbasses can beat us up? Like I said, we are on the same page with Kronic.

Goodman: No, you actually aren't, you guys just think you are.

(Stasiak stares at Goodman, and starts to walk away.)

Goodman: Jackasses.

(Stasiak suddenly bolts right back on the screen with Palumbo, and Goodman is attacked! The Perfect Event beats the hell out of Goodman.)

Stasiak: That's the last time you'll talk trash to the Perfect Event!

(Stasiak kicks Goodman in the ribs for good measure, and they both walk away. Triangle tag team match, it's NEXT!)

(Commercials)

Perfect Event vs. Hardyz vs. Kronic

Summary: This match is elimination style. Lots of tags going on, and then, Jeff Hardy went for a Swanton Bomb on Chuck Palumbo to pin him... However, Shawn Stasiak shoved him off the turnbuckle, and Chuck Palumbo picked him up and put him in the Torture Rack! Jeff tried to hang in there, but Matt couldn't save him, since Kronic was double teaming him!
Jeff tapped, thus making the Hardyz eliminated!

The Hardyz were told to leave the ring. As Kronic got done with Matt, the Perfect Event ran outside the ring and attacked Kronic. However, Kronic grabbed them both and threw them into the ring. Bryan Clark and Palumbo ended up in the ring. Clark went for a big boot, but Palumbo ducked it and hit a forearm! The big man was knocked down, and Palumbo went for a cover!

Backstage

(Chavo Guerrero Jr. is backstage.)

Guerrero: Bill Goldberg, you were once a force in WCW. However, I think you have softened over the years. Since there will be no outside interference in our match, I know I can beat you. So Goldberg, be prepared, because it'll be YOU that will be next.

(Guerrero walks off.)

Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Goldberg

Summary: Chavo comes out first, followed by Goldberg. Chavo was focused for this whole match and was not going to give up. Chavo gave everything he had at Goldberg. 14 MINUTES IN, Goldberg went for a savate kick, Chavo ducked it, but Chavo ran right into a charging Goldberg, who hit him with a spinebuster! Rating: * 3/4

After the match, Goldberg picked up Chavo and congratulated him on the great match.

(Commercials)

Jesse James vs. Scott Norton

Summary: James did his usual schtick, but Norton interrupted him and started to beat on him. There's really no match here, as Norton lets out his frustration from being beat down by Chavo on All Star Wrestling on poor Jesse James. A powerbomb, and it's all over.

Scott Norton pinned Jesse James with the Powerbomb in 0:08:58.
Rating: * 1/2

Backstage

(Jacob Goodman is with Jeff Jarrett.)

Goodman: Jeff Jarrett..-

Jarrett: Listen up, Slapnuts. You've had enough for one day, go home and get some rest.

(Jarrett pushes Goodman away.)

Jarrett: Now, Buff Bagwell, you may think you're the stuff, but I'll stuff this guitar down your throat tonight in our no-DQ match. I hope you are ready, because I'm gonna beat your ass. And if you don't like it, you can choke on it.

(Jarrett walks away.)
