Tennessee State Route 300 is a short east-west highway on the Northwest side of Memphis. This highway is not labeled. It is only marked by the mile markers on the highway. The roadway exists from U.S. Rt. 51 to Interstate 40. On I-40 the BGS's label this as U.S. Rt. 51. TN St Rt 300 was orignially planned to be a expressway to run from I-40 (then I-240) to Mud Island. Today it is one of two remaining portions of the planned expressways built. The other part are ghost ramsp at exit 1 alonf I-40 in Downtown Memphis. This is set to become part of Interstate 69 when it is extended into the Greater-Memphis Area.
