Toad is basically a living cameo, with exceptions like Super Mario Bros. 2 or Wario's Woods. Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that he'd use his cameo skills in more than just Mario games. While he doesn't have nearly as many as Mario does, he does have some, ussually with Mario. If you've seen one with Toad, then e-mail me and I'll put it up. On the way to Course 2, you'll pass Toad. You'll also see in the game most of the main Mario characters (ex: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, etc).
Kirby Superstar
System: Super Nintendo
Toad is cheering with Mario, Luigi, and Birdo not only when Kirby participates in the Megaton Punch Championship but also when the creampuff has a showdown with King Dedede.
