Is your Office 97 up-to-date? Check it out here. SR-2 is released now. However if you can afford it, Office 2000 is of course better.

Upgrade your Windows 95 with the latest Service Patch and download the latest Power Toys from Microsoft to boost up your Windows 95/98 applications. Play with Tweak UI; a must-have for serious Windows users.

For Internet Surfing:

1	Download a time logger to monitor your online time.
2	With so much downloading, you'll need a good compression utility to unzip the files. WinZip 8.0 is the best.
3	For offline internet browsing, try some of these. I use Teleport Pro 1.29 Build 1107.
4	Net Medic keeps you informed of where and who's screwing up your surfing
5	Download files with GetRight 4.5. The program can gracefully recover and resume from errors while downloading files. Support both http and ftp sites.
6	§A·R§Ú¶Ü¡H See garbage? No worries, install UnionWay Standard 97 to enable your PC to 'recognise' Chinese characters. (IE 5.0 comes with language support where the system will automatically select or you can manually select the type of Chinese fonts you want to see - Big 5 or GB - no need for external software).
7	A must have for all PCs. WinAmp 2.72 is the best MP3 player out there. Winamp provides all the features and performance you would expect in a mp3 player. Go ahead, turn your PC into a jukebox...
8	Alternatively, you can try out a newer MP3 player - the Sonique 1.9. It gives quite the same features as in WinAmp, with even better visual effects; but takes up more of your RAM.
9	Ever been annoyed by those stupid pop-ups `that you can never seem to close while you surf? Install Pop-Up Killer 1.7 to do the job for you.

For Internet Chat:

mIRC 5.82 for Internet Relay Chat . Most common.

Lots of Internet Telephony products can be found here. Pick and choose your own. I use iPhone 5.01 with Jane so we can still see each other...

How about ICQ 2001b 5.18 build 3659 (I Seek You) ? Keep in touch with your friends at all times. This program notifies you whenever a known party from anywhere in the world is online. Launch all other plug in programs, even SMS your friend's handphone with icq and get reply from his handphone. It's just getting more powerful...

For Your HomePage:

To upload your Home Page to your ISP, you'll need a FTP program. I recommend WS_FTP Pro 7.0.

Use Paint Shop Pro 7.01 to work with those graphics. It comes with Animated Gif also.

Perform automated checks for your Home Page on broken links using Net Mechanic's free service on the internet.

Use Colour Manipulation Device to choose your colours in Hex. numbers. Especially useful for Java applets.

My latest find includes this cool software by Anfy Team. Do all the Java work for you without you having to crack you head to make those tedious changes.

Edit your captured videos with Adobe Premier 6.0.

Sing along with your favorite mp3 with WinAmp. SayWhat 1.01 displays the lyrics as the song plays.

To better manage your images (jpeg, gifs, bmps), try ACD See 32 ver 3.1.

Have your wall paper changed every 15 mins with Webshots. Create your own selections of favourite wall papers and have it changed with a simple key stroke.

Burn your favorite CD-Rs and RWs with this easy to use full featured software - Nero 5.0.3.8
