Vectors to TACAN Final -
A request for radar vectors may be initiated by you or by ATC -
Once vectored off your flight planned route, set your TACAN for the
Final Approach Course, and comply with assigned vectors and approach
instructions -
ATC will place the aircraft on an intercept heading to the Final
Approach Course and clear you for the approach -
You may not descend until established on any published segment of the
approach -
The Landing Checklist may be initiated within no more than 4 nm of the
Final Approach Fix and within 30 Radials of the Final Approach Course -
You must resume altitude and heading control from the controller as the
airplane establishes itself onto a published portion of the approach INTRODUCE ITEMS A. Radar
