Michael Dwayne Tait, as well as Pete Stewart, Chad Chapin, and Lonnie Chapin all form the band Tait. Michael wants to make sure people know that the band, Tait, is not just himself but is the band and himself all together. The style is a mix of rock, pop, funk, soul, and R&B. The music is greatly influenced by what Michael learned from his dad as he was growing up. The deaths of his father, sister, and brother have also influenced Tait's first album, "Empty." That name came from the Bible verse that says, "What good is it to gain the world and yet loose your soul?" Michael was born on May 18, 1966.
