The Making of the Magic Roundabout: This half-hour show was broadcast 2 weeks before the movies release, through to about 2 weeks after. Shown on Sky Movies (pick a number, it hopped through them). This was basically choc-full of sneak preview scenes, with a little info on how the movie was made. The rest of the time was spent with the voice actors talking about the Magic Roundabout, the movie, the characters and, of course, their role in the movie. It was great stuff, real fun to watch, I think I've seen it about a BILLION times. No, not really, maybe 50. One day, I may transcribe it for the site.
Timeshift: This BBC4 programe was much more aimed at the old show, and a better description of it can be found in that section of the site. The CGI movie was given a fleeting inclusion, as it was still in it's early stages of development. All they had for images were the offical character stills that I think EVERYONE has seen. There was a bit of speculation on how good it would be, and a bit of excitment too, but it got about five minutes, tops.
