Activists undermine democratic principles

I am so sick of homosexuals telling me, because I am personally a conservative, that I am a bigot. It is ironic that homosexual activists describe those conservatives who stand for traditional views, and characterize those referendums (like Issue 3) which have been voted on and passed by a majority of the city’s citizens, as heartless, unthinking fools. Meanwhile, these people tout themselves as "freedom fighters" - even as they attempt to overturn the legislated acts of the majority. And please, don’t compare my traditional views to harkening back to the days when the lynching of African Americans was in vogue. Special-interest groups, like those representing the homosexual crowd that are trying to overturn Issue 3, are more manifestly supportive of anti-democratic acts than are those who supported Issue 3. I believe in "living and letting live." Stonewall Cincinnati, homosexual activists, those who voted against Issue 3, and, of course, the lawyers who circle decent, honest citizens remind me of the Russian Communists who always believed in democracy, except where they were concerned.
