Let the word go forth from Cincinnati: "No special rights here; the little queer in Wyoming had it coming to him."
Swastikas painted on synagogues are not the work of idle pranksters. They are deliberate and special hate acts in an America known for its inclusiveness, diversity, and tolerance.
Being allowed to live in America (i.e. alive) is not a "special right." |
As a Cincinnatian, I wonder what message we are sending to our young people and children (some of them are gay, you know). I shudder with sadness that it is one of, "When will the next little queer get his, and how can I help to be sure he does?"
