Questions for those who

think being gay is normal

It is troubling for me to read the story "When your teen is gay" [Feb. 12] and then see the letters to the editor from homosexuals who are deceived into believing that their orientation is "normal".

I would like to ask those with such persuasions the following question: Since homosexuals say that their sexual orientation is "not a disease" and it is "natural" for them to be attracted to the same sex, just where does this logically stop?  For instance, there are people who are "naturally" attracted sexually to children (pedophiles), and also some who are "attracted" to animals (bestiality).

In addition, there are a lot of men who are sexually "attracted" to almost any female.  Since this is "natural" to them, it must be OK to act it out?  Using the gay rationales of "natural" and "attracted to," we would have to accept such behavior as "normal" or "the way God made me."  Such thinking is so sad.

The Bible in Proverbs 14:12 says, 'there is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death."  This verse certainly applies to this subject.
