Students spend most of their quality time in the universities, so they can get maximum exposure to all resources in the campus. As for me, I think until certain age, it is mandatory for the students to involve in both studies and extracurricular activities.

In universities, which offer higher level of education, it is not advisable to spend same amount of money on sports as they do on libraries. As we are aware in lower level of education i.e. actively growing stage, students need extracurricular activities to keep them attentive at their minds on studies. So, taking this aspect into consideration, I do feel, the preference should be given, to spending more money towards sports.

Although, there are particular textbooks for every single subject, gaining vast knowledge is only possible thru libraries. This kind of knowledge is more required in higher studies than during basic studies.

Coming to the conclusion, my opinion is allocating more money for sports is only advisable at lower levels of education, otherwise priority should be given to the spending more for libraries.
