<< Visiting musum during traveling is fun and many people go to museums which their destination has. In many of museums, lots of sightseers enjoy artistic works or historical things. Analyzing such people, I think there are two main reasons for their visiting museum in new places. In short, they seek for knowledge or satisfaction of visiting the museum. First reason is that people want to know anything they want from the interesting place. Those who visit history museum want to know about the history of the place they visit. Therefore, I guess that the ratio of sightseers in the total museum�fs visitors is higher than that of the local visitors. In fact, my prefecture has large history museum in traditional castle and visitors are usually sightseers going by tour bus. Those who have interested in arts try to go as much museum as possible and therefore, they will visit art museums when traveling. Each museum fascinates them with its pictures and statues. For them, the purpoes of traveling might be visiting around various museums. Second reason is that visiting museums gives them traveling atmosphere. Some famous museum such as Ruble Museum and New York Contemporary Museum have innumerable famous artistic works and one of worth places of visiting. Therefore Japanese people usually visit Ruble Museum, the most famous museum in the world when they plan to travel in Paris France. Some of them visit the wonderful museum without knowing what are exhibited in details except for some famous pictures. How wasteful their way of visiting the museum. But if only they enter the famous museum, look at the several pictures and take pictures in front of the museum, they are satisfied in their mind and have memories of traveling. For them, visiting the famous museum, representing the destination, is the most important. In this way, museum visitors have mainly two reasons; for increasing their knowledge from the museum or memories of travel.
