<< Boss/supervisor means the leader of group of people and
boss/supervisor's important rule is to lead members of the group to do job
efficiently. The following qualities I mentioned in this
essay are very crucial for boss to lead
subordinates.
The ability to judge things reasonably
is essential quality of boss. Boss have to make important
decision about the whole projects of the groups such as a department of a
company. When subordinates make drafts of new job
or the company is involved in the problem, they are forced
to decide the whole direction of the company or give subordinates
adequate advice for the job, based on their experience, foresight, and
analysis of each factors connecting the job or
trouble. Bosses' right of decision making is so potential that
without their adequate individual ability as decision maker the group cannot go
the right way. Therefore, I think the ability of judge things right is
very important.
Competent boss/supervisor knows his/her
subordinates enough to allot jobs properly depending on their abilities,
characteristics, and preference. In my country, Japan, workers often
colaborate with other colleagues and each worker has each familiar parts of jobs
and each idea about the preferable way of doing job. The difference
of workers' idea about the way of doing job might cause conflicts.
Boss, who have right to order each workers to do jobs, have
to prepare jobs considering each workers' traits in order to
enhance the quality of each jobs. Without each workers' personal
information, boss cannot give adequate job for each workers. Although
subordenates have to make great effort to improve their flows in business and
private things, doing their favorite and familiar things will yield the
best result.
Boss/supervisor has decisive right to make the whole way
of the group. To make the good result as the whole, he/she is
asked for their ability to judge everything adequately and to be
familiar with their coworkers' characteristics of their ability,
personality, and preference and idea for making good coordination of
collaboration.
