<< I think it is better for children to grow up in a big city. I think so because I grew up in a big city. The city in which I have grown up is very large. I can say so because over three million people use a station a day. The number is four times as many as the population in the city which I live in now. I don't say that all the three million people live in the city. They come to the city just to work. As I said, I think it is better to grow up in a big city. I can say so from my experiences. If a child live in a big city, he can get more chance to communicate with many different people. In my school, my classmates come from many different cities by using trains. So everyone had different experiences and cultures. On top of that, visiting my friends' house by using a train seemed to me like traveling. Now I live in a countryside. I think to grow in a big city is not necessary bad. But I feel my classmates who have grown up in the city are all alike. I feel so probably because they have grown up in the same circumstances. So, in other words, they don't have a diversity in their thought. They are uniformal not unique. You may think that if children have grown up in a big city, they can not have a chance to grow up in the nature. I think so, too. As a residence of a big city, I have a little experiences to play in the nature except when my summer vacation or so. Every summer vacation, my father took me to a mountain and I could play in the nature and in winter my family went skiing. So for me, playing in the nature is a big event not a daily life. But now I can climb a mountain three times a week. Though the mountain is not so high (it takes about 20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain), I can enjoy climbing the mountain very much. For me, playing with the nature becomes a daily life. So my answer to the question is growing up in the big city is better, but growing in the nature is not bad. If I have my family in the future, I want to live in a big city. But I think playing in the nature is also enjoyable, so I want to find a big city that also has a nature nearby.
