<< I support the plan. If a new high school may be built in our community, I think our community will be activated. Because if a new high school may be built, students in other communities also come to our community by using a bus or a train. Then, I think our community will be activated because high school students have power to influence the society. You may think that they don't have such power because they don't earn money. In some sence it is true. Most high school students don't have jobs but for part time jobs. So they don't earn much money. But I want to say that they are good consumers in our community. High school students buy variety of things using their parents' money, because they are interested in many things. As we get older, we tend to lose our interest. For example, father doesn't buy clothes or CDs so often, while his son or daughter buy clothes or CDs or TV games so often. On top of that, high school students also spend money on eating. Every weekend, in our city we can see many high school students eating their lunch at the casual restaurant. So if a new high school may be built in our community, our community will be activated financially. And also they can be workers in our community in the future. In my country, the number of the people who is over 65 years old have increased, while the number of children decreased. I think if such a tendency continues, we can't remain our community as it is in the future. So for us, the most important matter is to gain many children or yonger people in our community. To do so, our city must be attractive for yonger people. Then, what is our task? What do we have to do to make our city attractive? I can't answer to this problem. Because I am no more a high school students. And I think that people who is over 18 years old can not answer to this problem. I think high school students themselves know the answer. So in this point of view, it is good to build a new high school. Then, what is the problem to build a new school? I think that is a cost and a land. To build a school, we must need vast areas and much money. To support this problem, I think our goverment must use their power. I even think that the goverment is allowed to get extra taxes to build a new school. If the goverment say clearly the purpose of the using money, then who will oppose their plan? I believe that everyone in our community will support the plan. They also recognize the need to build a new school and get more children in our community. So I can say that everyone in our city will readily accept the increased taxes.
