<< I have no job, so I don't know if I can tell something about this topic. Instead, I want to tell a little about my father's case. He doesn't enjoy his earnings. This is because he doesn't have time to enjoy the money. On top of that, in my family, my mother has a total financial authority. She doesn't also spend money so much. She always say that she want to save money for their future. Grown up in such a family, I don't know how to enjoy money, but in a last paragraph, I want to think a little bit about that. My father doesn't spend money, he only earns money for his family. When I was a high school student, our teacher said that doctors buy luxurious cars because they don't have time to spend money. For example, the teacher said that he spend his money for travelling abroad. But doctors don't have time to do so, as a result, they buy expensive cars. I thought that might be true. As for my parents, their honeymoon was just Hokkaido, one large island in my country. Usually in Japan, couples choose foreign countries as their honeymoon. But at that time, my father was only a young, cherry doctor, and his professor didn't want him to go away from Japan to foreign countries even if it is a honeymoon. In my family, all money is under my mother's authority. This is because my father ask her to manage all the family affairs including finance. She also likes to save money. She worries about the future of Japan, that is, she doesn't count on money from the government when they are over 65. Then, how can we enjoy our money? That is, how can we enjoy our free time? I don't know exactly how we can spend money efficiently. I know that only saving money is boring and tiresome. It is important for us to do our job to the full. But at the same time, spending money for some luxuries such as travelling, eating out, shopping, or going to some concerts would be better. As for me, snowboarding with my friends is most efficient and enjoyable way of using money. |
