Development of technology has changed our lives dramatically.   Among many of changese, I think its effect on the way of getting information is a typical example.  Therefore, I agree with the idea that students can gather imformation and learn things in shorter time.  I would like to mention how highly sophisticated technology give students larger amount of information.

 

  Now personal computer is one of essential tools in our daily life.  It enables us to deal with large amount of information on business and to send others necessary information with e-mail.  Since the wonderful machines are prevalent, many companies and other organization, association including public institution or school learn to show their public information on line.  Now,  we can get information of newspaper and television programs.  Individuals also make their own homepages, and everyone who access the page can read the contents.   

 

  With the computer,  students can gain their necessary information quickly sitting in front of monitor at their own home.  For instance if only they access the homepage of libraries, where they can search books, they can know which libraries have books for their research and assignment before they go to libraries and look for it.  This saves students time to look for books drastically.   The official homepage of the institution tells students the change of schedule which is useful for those who come from far place to decide whether or not their classes are opened or closed in emergency without going to school and confirm britten board. 

 

  Computer is useful not only as the method getting information but also as the tool of learning something.  Some company prepare homepage where visitors can learn English.  In one homepage, I know, we can figure out the practice test of English grammar and listening.  These are very convenient because they can learn what they want at home.  Such tools are also useful especially for students who cannot buy so many kinds of adequate textbooks or live in the place far from school where they want to learn.     

 

 In this way, computer have enabled students to know and learn much larger amount of things at home and reduce their labor to search for information.  Thinking about these good result of computer, I would conclude that technology let students learn and get lots of things much more quickly.
