<< I agree with the statement that students can learn more effectively by using technology. I think so especially about comupters. By using personal computers, students can get necessary information quickly. Nowadays much information is available on the internet. For example, if you want to know about the word, "cerebral hemorrhage", you can search the word by using the Yahoo or Google search engine. Then you can find many websites that describes or refers to cerebral hemorrhage. But there may be some problems. That is, the correctness of the information. The website may be made by someone who don't have correct knowledge. In such a case, students might learn wrong information. So I want to say that when we get some information from the world wide websites, the first thing we must do is to check the author of the website. By doing so, we can probably get the correct information. We can use our personal computers more effectively than I have stated above. I think most basic way of studying is still reading a book. We can get most necessary information from our textbooks than from the internet. Especially, for us, not using English as a daily language, English textbook is very useful because the newest information is usually written in an English textbook. So sometimes we must buy books from the United States. But if we don't have our personal computers, how do we buy the book? Maybe, we must go to our nearby book store and order the book. It will take more than two or three months to get the textbook. But nowadays, we can buy any book all over the world by using computer. Only we have to have is our creditcard. If we have our creditcard, we can buy any book on the internet by typing the creditcard number into a order form. So, we can get our necessary information by using the internet or by reading a textbook. But nowadays both ways need computers. I think computers have changed our ways of learning to a great extent. But I doubt that we can not write letters by hands in the near future. I have read in some book that our hands are the exposed brain. That is by using our hands, our brain is also activated and developed. So if we don't have custom to write by our hands and we only type our hands, I doubt that our brain might stop some of its function. That is, some neurons in our brain that are used now become not beeing used and will lose their function.
