<< We have destroyed environment which leads to extinction of some species. Some people might say human being's profit should have priority over other endangered spicies. However, I cannot agree with this idea. It is because human being can flourish without sacrifieing other species. Human being can increase productivity without destruction of precious living place of many other animals such as tropical rain forests and coral . I guess some employees of company which promotes deforestation say that preparing land for agriculture or construction of new factory or house will enhance economy and living standard in developing countries, and therefore, deforestation is necessary. However, I think that irrigation of desert is much more advantageous. Desert have few animals and we never kill animals by irrigation. Moreover, it enables both human being and animals to live there. With increase of irrigation, we can increase the land available and plants which grow in the new farm will bring human being much benefit; starvation of developing countries will be solved and environmental condition will be improved thanks to the widen green field. Finaly, I would like to emphasize that sacrificing other animals won't make profit for human being in the long run, since extinction of other species will worsen environmental condition. Recently we, human being are perplexed by the strange environmentap phenomena, and decrease of green field caused by environmental destruction such as deforestation or contamination of ocean. From these observation, I disagree with the idea that human needs for farmland, housing, and industry are more important than saving land for endangered species.
