<< I think some people attracted to dangerouse sports because they don't think it as dangerous. I can say so from my experience. I love snowboarding and every winter and spring, I go to a mountain to snowboard with my friends. And I can say that all of us don't expect that we are injured by snowboarding. The first time we did the sport, all of us were beginners. And you may expect that we are taught by some instructers. But we didn't, because we are a poor student and we don't have much money to take a lesson. So we practiced by ourselves. The practice was so hard that I felt I might die of hard practicing. But even so, none of us expected to be injured by some clash accidents. I know that many people are injured in the snowboarding accident and most of them become acute subdural hematoma or something. But still, we can not believe we get hurts. I think that can be true of our daily accidents. We drive our cars without expecting to have an accident. So once we get into some troubles, we might be shocked than expected. You may think that I can say that because snowboarding is not a dangerous sport. I admit that. I know there are many other dangerous sports in the world. For example, I think rock climing or sky surfing is the more dangerous sport. Then, why are such people who do rock climing or sky surfing attracted to the sport? I think they don't do the sport just as their hobby. For them, the sport is their life, work, or even a duty. They do the sport to accomplish something. That is, for them the sport is an art and by accomplish it, they can get great satisfaction. Then, why are some people attracted dangerous activities such as war, terrolism, and so on. In such cases, I think they don't think their activity as an art. They do that to accomplish some purpose. In sports activity, I think players don't have specific purpose (except for professional players). They do just to be satissfied in their minds. But people who fight or resist against something usually have their purpose. Their purpose is so important for them that they sometimes don't hesitate to die for their benefit. I think those people expect to die by doing or continuing their activities. To prevent them from conducting such a dangerous activity, what can we do? I can't say something to that question. I think one useful way to avoid such a conflict is not doing any revenge. I hope all wars will disappear from the Earth in some day.
