<< I think it depends on case by case. I usually travel with my friends because when we travel we do some sports such as snowboarding or skiing. And since I don't like travels such as looking around some towns or sceneries, I have no experience of travelling alone. Except for my family's travel in my childhood, I always do some kinds of sports when I travel. So for me, travelling alone seems incredible. But every time I take the TOEIC test, I go to my neighboring prefecture by using a train. It takes only a 60 minutes, but for me it is like travelling alone. And I love the 1 hour travelling because I can do a lot of things what I don't do in my daily life. For example, I can read books which I didn't have time to read or I can eat a local lunch box with tea. I know that is a little happiness, a tiny hapiness. But I love the 1 hour because that is like a diviation from my routine life. By the way, I have no experience to go abroad. But one of my classmates goes abroad every summer. And surprisingly, though the classmate is a girl, she always travel alone without having money. I worry that there might be some dangers, but she does not mind. You may think that she travels to some developed country such as France or America. And you may also think that she has her friends in that country and she stays in their home. But she does not do such a boaring thing. She loves exciting experiences. So she always go to some developing country, for example, last summer she went to Morocco, and this summer she went to India. You may think that then, how she can stay in those country without having money. The answer is she stays in a working camp. I have asked her the reason of her travelling alone to those developping countries. She said that her friends refused to go with her or parents of her friends didn't allowed. But she didn't give me clear reason for going to such countries. But I can say there must be still something which attracts her so much. |
