I think it depends on the day. I prefer to get up early in the weekdays and I prefer to get up late in the weekends. I do so because I have to go to my university at 8:30 in weekdays. On top of that, I must go to my university at 7:45 on Friday because I have to attend some conferences on Friday. You may think that my university begins too early in the morning. That is true because most university in my country begins at 9:00 in the morning. My university has also begun at that time but this year, my university has changed its educational system. That is, my university changed its educational style from an old lecture style to a new self studying style. We, about 100 students in my class, are divided into 12 groups. Each group has about 8 or 9 students and one tutor. We gather at 8:30 in the morning in small conference room and discuss about one and half an hour. We discuss the segment of some patient and decide the homework we have to do by the next conference.

The conference is done in a small group and it is necessary to attend every conferences. The tutor of the group checks the student who comes to late and report him or her to the committee. The student who comes to late is lose his scores. But you may not have to worry because each time the student comes to late, he or she will lose only 1 or 2 points. But if he comes late over 30 minutes, he will lose 3 points and if that are accumulated, he or she will not get a credit. The student who can not get his or her credit must take the course again, that means he or she must repeat the grade one more year. So you may be surprised, every student in my university comes to school just on time. No one comes late. You may think that we are pitty because we must get up so early every day. But my university ends in the morning, that is, we have no lectures or conferences in the afternoon. So we can spend our time freely in the afternoon except for the days we have some experiments.

As stated above, I get up early through Monday to Friday. But I get up late on Saturday and Sunday. So I love the Friday's night because I don't have to set my waking alarm. That means I can sleep to the full through Friday's night to Saturday's morning. I think I love my getting up late on weekends because I spend strict weekdays. If I spend loose weekdays, I think I could not appreciate the weekends' long sleep. So I love both getting up early and late. I think if either one lacks, I could not appreciate the goodness of the other. That is, we must do both getting up early and getting up late in our life.
