<< I think each person has different reason and purpose for their work. As for me, there are two reasons why I work. The first reasons why I work is to earn money to live independently. Although I do not work and sill depend on my parents now, after studying abroad, I will work and live for myself apart from my parents. As you know, money is essential for us to gain necessaries in daily life. That is why, I think, almost all the people are engaged in their work. The second reason is that work gives me self-satisfaction. I like English very much and in the future, I would like to be a professional translator, because, English into Japanese is very fun for me, discovering the difference of way to express things between these two languages. I can devote myself to the task. Therefore, I want to choose translation as my occupation. Observing my case, I notice that others especially artists, talents, and specialists also love their job. Some of them continue to do the job despite their slight reward by their job. Therefore, I am sure that self satisfaction they get through the job is one of the important reasons why they work. I could not continue to do a job that I hate, even if it brings my large amount of money. Of course, money is important factor to stable life, but the irritating job will accumulate tremendous stress on my mind. Do you regard stressful life as happy life? On the contrary, I can continue to do favorite job. Even if I encounter some business troubles, I would manage to deal with them. It is because I can continue to make painful effort for the favorite job. |
