So I think I must answer to this question. I want to be a doctor and I often asked by my friends about the reason why I have chosen to be a doctor. I, myself, don't know exactly why I want to be a doctor. I often reply that because I want earn much money. If I say so, they usually despise me and say that they don't want to me to be a doctor. So I have to add to say that I also want to help patients who suffer from some diseases. But do you think doctors think such a way? I can say yes. Most doctors want to cure their patients as possible as they can. But I can also say that most doctors also want moeny as other workers want, because they have their own family and they must earn money for their wife and children. The first time I begin to want to be a doctor was when I was a kindergarden student. In those days, my father, a surgeon, was about 35 years old. And he always comes home at 22:00 or more late. And even, he often goes back to his work place soon after he comes home, because the status of his patient becomes worse. For me, 5 or 6 years boy, that was incredible. And I can genuinly respect for him. That is the most core reason of my willingness to be a doctor, especially a surgeon. So I have wanted to be a surgeon since I was a little boy. I have taken it granted to be a surgeon and I have never doubted the reason. Now I study medicine at my university, and I know there are variety of doctors such as physisian, psychiatist, or biochemist. I know to be such a doctor is also intersting. But I still want to be a surgeon, especially a neurosurgeon. To earn much money, I should be a primary care doctor. In my country, home doctors usually earn much money than doctors who work for a university hospital or other large hospitals. But I don't want to be a home doctor. I want to be a specialist and want to work in an university hospital. So you may realize that money is not the most important factor for me. I think the most important factor is to be able to do a tough work as my father do. But I don't admit all of my father, that is, his English ability is very poor. I think, to do a good job that can compete with the world, we must speak or write English as we want. If a doctor can not use English, he is like a blue worker, that is, he just cures his patient as a routine work. I think routine work is also a necessary task for a doctor, but if all doctors only do such works, how can medicine progress or develope? That is the reason I study English every day. I want to do works that can compete with the world.
