I agree with the statement. I think we can get much information from one's external appearances, but I think we can not judge him or her by only appearances. It is true that appearances give us lots of information to us, so most of us, especially, young people, pay much attention to their external appearances. For example, in my country, the hair color of the most people is black. You may think that it is very unique, but my country is a small land surrounded by a sea, so people live in the land belong to the same group genetically. In my country, especially, young women, stain their hair with variety of colors. As a result, there are variety of people with different hair colors walking in a city. The hair of someone is brown, and the hair of another is gold, though their natural hair color is black. I think in my country, we can get some information from only a hair color. For example, many high schools in my country prohibit students to stain their hair. So many schoolgirls change their hair color from black to brown or gold when they graduate from high school. But many schoolgirls stain their hair while they are still students. This means their strong interest to their external appearance.

But I don't judge people by only external appearances. This is because I often make mistakes by judging people by external appearances. For example, I don't have favorite impression to a girl whose hair is stained with gold. Though I love brown or other colors, I don't think a gold color suits to girls living in our country. But I often have to change the impression, because when I talk with such girls, I can enjoy the conversation very much. That is, girls with gold hair is often very talkative and their talk is very fun. That means I don't like their appearances by I love their internal appearances.

I often judge people by talking with them. I don't or can't judge them by only two or three conversations as some novelists do. I can't divine or undrestand a person's characteristics easily as a novelist. I have read that a novelist can judge a person only by looking at him or her in a few minutes and he can make one story or the person. But I don't have such an great asset. I often judge people after having many conversations with them or spending many times with them. I think that is the way to be able to judge one's internal appearances.
