For example, if the company produce automobiles, it is clear that the company should give money to protect the environmeny because they destory the environment in some sense. In my contry, one automobile company spends much money to make a hybrid car. "Hybrid" in this contex means gasolines and electronics. Ordinally car uses gasolines as its energy and it is very convenient for us, but on the other hand, it pollutes the air very much. So we, humans, must develope new types of energy, but to use electricities as energy is very difficult. To solve this problem the company has taken advantage of both gasolines and electricities. You may think that it does not mean to give some money to the environment. You may think so because spending some moeny to develope the hybrid car is expected to lead benefits of the company. It is true but to develop such types of car first is very expensive, so the company may lose much money. So I think the company can be said to spend some money to protect the environment. On the other hand, one drug company in my country spends some money to support the arts. The company built an international art gallery in my community. In the gallery you can see most famous pictures in the world with only 3,000 yen, that is, 30 U.S. dollars. You may think that it is very expensive to see only some pictures. But in the gallery there are total of thousand pictures, so you can see one picture at 3 yen. I think it is very reasonable price so it can be said that the company spends some money to support the arts. The company gives us the chance to see the world's famous pictures at 3 yen per one picture. So I think it is important for a company to spend some money for the purpose of something, that is, to spend some money for something good for our society. Spending money for such purposes may not directly lead to their increased incomes, but I believe they can be admired by our society and that can lead to their benefits in the future. You may think that a company must spend money to protect the enviroment much more because nowadays the enviroments of our planet seems to be wrong. I also think so. But that is not a problem of a company, I think that must be a problem of us. To protect the enviroment, we ourselves have to take responsibility. We use much energy to live than we need, that is, we spend much energy to satisfy our desires. As a result, the air of the Earth is very polluted and the ozone layer is destroyed. I think to protect such phenomenon, we must take action. Only one company can not have power to save the nature. There tons of people in the Earth, and if each one do some effort to protect our environment, I think we can keep our the Earth as a beutiful planet.
