22/F/Japan>>> TOEFL CBT 223 (5.0) Children spend most times at school with their classmates. Therefore, physically thinking, I agree with the idea that classmates are more important for children's successful school life. From my experience, I am sure that whether or not a child can lead fruitful school life is depending on their classmates. I will explain the reasons in detail. Firstly, classmates can make studies more enjoyable. When I was an elementary schoolgirl, I liked laboratories, because I can learn the way of composing oxygen or some gasses discussing other pupils. It was exciting study and quite different from ordinal lecture we received in front of backboard. Although I was poor at science then, Enjoying laboratories with friends was so impressive that I never forgot the contents of science class, Secondly, classmates can be a good rival, which become strong impetus to study hard. This idea might not apply all the children, but every students has preference and some favorite subject. Then in the subject, students want to get better grade than other classmates. They spend more times with other pupils and have many opportunities to see other classmates to make an effort to learn more things. This experience will stimulates one another's fighting spirit of the certain subject. Therefore, getting good rival will help child to lead a successful school life in terms of their academic ability. Last but not least, child will gain good friends at school, which is essential for child to continue their school life. In other words, without friend, even the best parents cannot guarantee their son/daughter's enjoyable school life. If children reluctantly go to school everyday, they might escape from school or their mental condition might not be kept healthy. I think that school life without enjoyable things cannot be regarded as successful one for any children. |
