Some people might think that students should not be evaluated by their score of examination. My mother sometimes said that it is ideal that students are evaluated by more various point of view, say their eagerness to participation and cooperation in school events. I also feel that students should not only acquire enough knowledge but also how to make proper relationship with other classmates and teachers. But I agree with the idea that grades encourage students to study.

Grade tells students their condition of achievement of the study. Without knowing how they understand the lecture, some students cannot review the subjects efficiently. Since they have to study from the beginning and take much times to know the contents. Others read textbooks at random and fail to improve their poor ability and spot studying, irritated. Therefore having examination is important for students to know their present academic ability. Based on the result of tests, Students will improve their weak point more rapidly.

Grade can be a good chance for students to study hard. When students get high score on a test, they feel like studying harder to find themselves have academic ability and want to get better score. Having good score is pleasure for many of students. Therefore, in this case, high score can be a prize to satisfy themselves. On the other hand, if students have poor score on an exam, grade also becomes an opportunity to force students to study hard. Poor score, which show the students' inefficiency of knowledge, warns the students to study hard. This is tough experience for them. But the questions on the tests is necessary knowledge to acquire. Therefore, I think such students should notice their severe reality and necessity of their hard working from the bitter experience.
