Is it more important to be able to work with a group of people on a team or to work independently? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.

     I think both of them are important. Competent people tend to do their jobs independently. They do so because they want to do high quality jobs. If they do their jobs with someone else, they might destroy his high quality works. On the other hand, if you work with someone else, you can do your works more effectively. I usually appreciate the power of the team work. When I do my scientific experiments at my university, I usually do them with my classmates. Some of them are superior than me, and some of them sometimes disturb my task. But tatally, we can do our experiments more effectively than doing them by oneselves.
     To work with someone, that is, to be a member of some group, I think the most important ability is to be a selfless person. In our experiments at the university, I often feel the necessity of the ability. When we do our tasks, some classmates tend to do their jobs in a quick pace. And others tend to do all the experiment by themselves, I mean, they don't believe the ability of the other staffs. When we have such members in our group, the experiment can be finished quickly. But in such a case, we can not enjoy our experiment. On top of that, we are very fatigued by hurrying up in such a fast pace.
     We usually think that many famous artists did their excellent works by themselves. And I think it might be true. It may be certain that they have done their high quality jobs by themselves. And I agree with that. I also think that an original or creative idea is usually produced by each individuals. I mean, however much we talk or discuss with our co-workers, we can not hit upon a new idea. On the other hand, when we do our jobs by ourselves, we sometimes come across some difficulties. In such a time, the difficulties usually become clear when we discuss with someone else. So I have said that both doing our jobs alone and doing our jobs with someone else are important.
     But still, I believe that an creative idea is always think upon by an individual. I think so because a famous artist in the world usually do his or her job alone. Even when some excellent works are done by a group, the group has always one core person. I mean, such group has usually one key person who has leaded the group to the excellent work. So I think if we want to do some excellent works, we must rely on our own imagination. We must think and work by ourselves, and to make our creativities to the full. And sometimes, consulting or discussing with others is important. By doing so, we can do our jobs more effectively and sufficiently.
