Japan has westernized since end of the second world war and now, we, Japanese lead such a westernized life that foreigners coming from a big city in Japan would feel as if they were in a city in other city in Europe or the United States.  We seem to be accustomed to Western customs, but I have one custom in Western countries. 
 
   It is the way of using bath tab; Japanese typical bath room has large bath tab and no toilet and we wash our body out of bath tab and warm ourselves into the bath tab filled with boiled water instead of taking shower.    I would like to recommend this custom to foreigners.  It is because this is very reasonable way.
 
  Hot water, of course much more warm our body than shower.   Clear water having no babble also enables us to enjoy choosing supplement to  add to the hot water in the bath tab.  This supplement add aroma or beautiful color.  Some of them have the same components as famous spa has.  Warming body and using spring-like water is good for our health.
 
 Warming in bath tab gives us comfortable time.  This lets us feel more relax than shower.  Thinking in the hot water, I hit upon good idea.  We can enjoy listening to music and radio during bath time without disturbed by the noise of  hour.  Therefore in Japan, waterproof radio or TV is more prevalent.
 
  Adopting Japanese bath style, as I said above, will bring us more health and enjoyable time.  Therefore, I strongly recommend this custom to foreigners.
