22/F/Japan>>> TOEFL CBT 223 (5.0) When a foreigner has a day for sightseeing in Japan, I
would like to take him/her to Tokyo because Tokyo is the best place for the
foreigner to know about Japan well in short time.
Firstly, Tokyo has good museum that has very enjoyable
exhibition about the Japanese history, especially Tokyo. Tokyo Ohedo
Museum in Ryogoku is one of the biggest historical museums in Tokyo, where we
can look at each era's exhibitions such as traditional buildings or many
pictures and we can touch some of them. The most enjoyable floor
reconstruct the traditional street of Edo age and we feel traditional atmosphere
of Edo age. Therefore the foreiner will know the Japanese history in short
time and by touching some exhibition, he/she will enjoy learning it.
Secondly, Tokyo has close to everywhere the foreigner
needs. If the foreigner want to the real traditional historical
place, he/she can has many choices. Asakusa gives the foreigner the
specific atmosphere of life of people living in Tokyo. If the people
want to take rest in quiet park, Arisugawa Memorial Park and Shinjuku Gyoen are
the most suitable. There are lots of foreigners who live in Japan
in Arisugawa memorial park and therefore the foreigner will be able to
interview them about living in Japan, which give the foreigner novel interesting
point of view to Japan.
Tokyo is near international airport and therefore, the foreigner will be able to spend comparatively much time on sightseeing to Japan. Although the foreigner has only one day the visinity let him/her make the most of precious time. |
