If I could meet a historic person, I would like to meet Helen Keller.   I She has so strong vitality and overcame her physical handicaps, blindness, deafness, and muteness.  Since I was moved to read her biography in childhood, I would like to be a Helen Keller-like person.

She is so mentally strong person that she make a great effort to acquire ability to lead independent life to overcome her serious handicaps ;she learned words for blind people and at last, she went on college.  Her courage and great effort which we can know from her biography or cinema works "The Miracle Person", tells and give us courage to try everything difficult and  importance of effort.

If I could interview her, the first thing I want to ask her is the secret key to encourage herself when she is about to be depressed.  According to her biography, her depression is so serious because she couldn't know what the environment surrounding her was like because she couldn't  hear and look at anything at all.  Therefore, she was always frustrated to fail to understand things by only the sense of touching. However she never gave up.  I guess she had some secret key not to give up her trying.  I want to know it and apply it to my daily life, when I want to be an escapismist.

I have big ambition to be a translator and study everyday.  However it is very though to realize it and sometimes want to stop studying to depressed by my slow progress.   But I want to realize this dream and really understand the necessity of my strong mind enough to continue to improve my English and Japanese. Therefore, Helen Keller's advice will be very helpful for me to continue herd working.
