If I could meet a famous comedian or athlete, I would like to meet Chales Chaplin, one of the most famous English comedian, actor, and film director in the world.  When I was a junir high school student, I watched his film work for the first time and was very moved.  The name of the movie was "Lime Light".  Since then, I have watched some of his famous works and learned about him in world history class of my senior high school and lecture of my university.  The more I learned,  the more I was interested in him.   So, if I could go to the past world, when he worked as a film director, I would like to observe the era as well as to meet him.
 
  When meeting him, I would interview him about the secret key to make interesting films like "Modern Times".   His performance in his film is very humorous by repeating the same actions in the scenes.  I think that without deep consideration of the film construction, he could not make such kind on interesting films.   Therefore, I really want to know how he got the idea for making the films.  

 

 His films are filled with humor including cynical toward politics or society.  The main theme of them are usually criticism of politics and unfairness.  However, criticizing such kind of authority was very dangerous at that time. He criticized even Nazis through his works, "The Dictator".   Thus, I wonder why he dare to show his opinion running the risk of his life.  What made him do so.  If I can talk with him, I would understand more deeply not only about his character but also about the theme of his works.   That is why I want to meet the great comedian, Chales Chaplin.
