If I have to share a room with other student, it might be when I start to prepare for new life at a foreign college as an postgraduate student.  Therefore I must have few people who know me and of course have few friends and enough knowledge how to look for my roommate by myself.  Thinking this point, I would like to ask school office to choose my roommate.

 

 First of all, without having enough knowledge about looking for a roommate, I cannot find adequate roommate.  Although I heard that some students make a poster for asking for a roommate on massage board in the United States, I have no conficence to decide who is the most suitable person as my roommates.  I am a foreigner in the country, who must have poor ability to communicate with them and I might not be able to discuss with those who want to share a room about our hope in sharing room.  However stuffs of school housing office are very used to choosing students' roommates thinking about each student's condition, background, and hope in sharing with other students.  Therefore on balance school staff's choice will be more successful.

 

 Secondly, the roommate that school choose for me might be the first friend of mine.  As I mentioned earlier, before beginning a class, I have few friends, since I will be a foreign student and there are few people who know me before entering the school.  The roommate will be a stranger since staff of the school choose my classmate among many other students.  Thus, I will make a precious friend through the school's choice apart from my precedent human relationship with others.

 

In conclusion, the main reason for my favor of school's choice of my roommates are as follows: schools' superior way of choosing roommates and new chance to be friends with other student.  Although school housing office does not always find the best roommate for me, it must be better than my choice thinking about my immature experience to live in a foreign country.
