<< I prefer to spend most of my time with my friends and I do so. In my university, since I study medicine, I must spend much time with my friends. We have many practices and lectures. Other students in my university say that they don't spend their time so much with their friends. Of course they spend their time with their friends, but they don't spend their time only with their classmates. If you are a college or university student, you may take lectures in a large room, and you may not have to come to school as a high school. You can have variety of lectures and you may have many friends. But we, 100 students learn in the same classroom, do the same practices, hear the same lectures. We, 100 classmates always do the same things. So whether I prefer or not, I have to spend most of my time with my friends automatically. But being with friends does not always mean not being able to have my own time. For example, when I go snowboarding with my friends, I snowboard almost all days by myself. We usually go snowboarding with 7 or 8 friends every winter. To hear that, you might imagine that we can enjoy snowboarding with my friends to the full. But by snowboarding, we can not be with our friends. We can be with us only when we eat breakfast or supper, we can not even eat lunch with us. This is because snowboarding is not a team playing type sport as basketball or baseball. So when we snowboard, we spend most of our time alone or only with one or two of 7 or 8 friends. Sometimes I feel that I want to have my own time. Especially when my life becomes too busy, I want to have my own time to rest myself physically and mentally. But my mobile phone prevent me to be alone. Thanks to the convenient function of "History", I can not even ignore my friends. Do you know the convenient function? I want to explain a little about it. The function "History" enable us to know who calls us. And the history is stored in my cellular phone even when I don't take my cellular phone. So when I check my cellular phone, and recognize the history of one of my friends, I must call back to the friend. If I don't call back to him or her, that means I ignore him or her. So even when I want to spend my time alone, I can not do so thanks to my cellular phone. |
