<<      I myself like playing, so I think children should spend most of their time playing. But I think it depends on which kinds of playing they do. If they play with their friends outside their homes, I think it is very desirable. On the other hand, if they play some TV games inside their houses, I don't think it is better.      When I was a primary school student, I played with my friends outside home until dark. We always played baseball and that was very fun, though I was not good at playing very much. By playing outside, we can not only strengthen our bodies, but also acquire some immune system to many bacterias. You may say that doing TV games can develop children's creativity or imagination. And by doing some TV games, children can be accustomed to the computer skills. But I don't think so from my experiences.      When I was a junior high school student, I played TV games alone when I came back to home. I couldn't play with my friends as I did when I was a primary school student. This was because my junior high school was far from my house, and I had to take a train to go to school. And most of the students at my junior high school came from different areas, so we can't play with our friends after school. Of course, we went to some leisure land or cities on our holidays, but on weekdays I had to play by myself. I regret very much about I had played TV games. TV games were only time consuming things for me, and it created nothing for me.      You may say that children should study after school, because studying is also thir job. I agree with that. If children hear lectures only in their classrooms, and don't study at all after school, it is clear that they can't come up with the lectures. So I think children should spend their times even for school studies.      To tell the truth, I think children should do what they like. Adults can not necessarily do what they like because they must earn money for their family, and they take some responsibilities for our society. But children don't have to make money, they can only use money, and they don't have any responsibilities for the society. So I think children should do what they like. And I think that leads to the creativity or characteristics of the child.      Some children want to study hard, and get high scores on school tests. Others like to play some musical instruments. I think both of them spend their time usufully if they like to do so. You may say that parents should lead to their child to some direction, say, doing some sports or playing some musical instruments. And as you know, many famost genious children who are good at some region such as tennis or violin are educated from their early stages. I admit their abilities and I think they are truely good. But still, I think it is better for children to do what they like without being told to do so.      In conclusion, I think both studying and playing are beneficial for children if they want to do so. And I believe that will lead to their creativity in the future.
