I like it better to have changes in my life rather than to stay the same, while both of these approaches to life have advantages.  Although maintaining one's habit and environment enables him or her to have stable and less stressful life without having many troubles, the merit of experiencing new things are more important to me.  This can be seen in terms of enjoyment and opportunities to learn new things.

Some people may prefer to stay the same and be happy to be in the same environment and keep their habits, for this leads them to less stressful lives without facing many problems.  When people stay in the same habit or environment, they know what are surrounding them very well, which enables them to avoid troubles. Staying the same also means that they do not have to face many thing that are new to them or to try to adopt themselves under pressures.  Suppose that you have been working at an office as an office worker for a couple of years, you have learned how you do your work and what exactly you are supposed to do there. If you stay in the same office, now that you are familiar with your office, work and colleagues, it is less likely that you will face many problems at your current work.  Contrary, if you quit the job, and start working at a new office, you will face many new things that you have to start learning all over, which seems more stressful.  On the basis of these considerations, it seems true that the staying the same environment has a merit to avoid troubles and stressful lives.  However, this advantage is not significantly important to me in my life since these troubles can be overcome over time as I get used to the new things thus as I find how to work these new situations out, and is more importantly coincided with greater enjoyment and chances for self-improvement.

I prefer to have many changes in my life, because it is enjoyable to go through many changes, which can help to improve myself.  The changes, though they are sometimes stressful, bring me many new experiences that make me happy and excited.  It is exciting for me to know something new, meet new people, and do something new to me.   This also provides me with wider knowledge, opportunities to improve my views and skills.  An example of my prefer to make changes in my life can be that I moved out from dormitory to an apartment to make changes, though I liked the dormitory.  I used to stay in a dormitory where I stayed for more than a year, and I knew the place and people vary well and had many good friends there.  It seemed that the life would be easier if I stayed there, as I did not have any problems in finding friends 24 hours a day or in worrying about household work.  Nonetheless, I moved out there to make changes because I started to get bored with the place, and more importantly because I wanted to experience something new and to improve my skills to look after myself.  After I moved out, it was tough in the first place, because I had no experience in finding an apartment, buying all the furniture, arranging all the services such as electricity, doing the household jobs and so forth on my own.  At the same time, what was more important with this new change was that I was happy with this new experience to do almost everything on my own and with the fact that I was learning new skills.  To sum up, it is more preferable for me to have changes in my life, because it is more enjoyable and I can learn something out of them.

In conclusion, having been discussing advantages of making staying the same and making changes, I prefer the latter approach, looking forward to new experience.  This is because, though staying the same has a merit to avoid troubles, new experiences brings enjoyment and chances to improve myself.
